For all you internet junkies out there who are anxious to know how the new JJ Abrams produced movie will play out and if it is any good, I want to relieve your fears and tell you that the movie is a brilliantly put together cinematic piece that takes the lost footage genre movie to a new level. Director Matt Reeves does an exceptional job creating tension and terrifying atmosphere through the use of hand held video, footage that it tells you from the beginning was recovered by the Dept. of De…

It is reported from Filmjunk that there is a sequel being made to one of the best Stephen Chow movies ever made, but in this one, instead of continuing the exploits of Mighty Steel Leg Sing and his band of brothers, it now focuses on a girl who plays lacrosse. Lacrosse??? Now, since this is being produced by Chow, I am hoping that it is as fun and whimsical as the first one. It is called Shaoli…

Not sure why this interested me, but was saddened to see that one of the great mimes died Saturday. I'm not a big fan of mimes, but i did laugh the hardest during the scene with Billy the Mime in THE ARISTOCRATS.

News from The movie blog, it appears that Nick Frost and Simon Pegg are going to appear in another movie outside of Edgar Wright's Ice Cream Trilogy. I have become big fans of these two ever since watching SH… Continue

While the movie was a terribly directed, terribly acted, and terribly written film, it surprised me with the CG and action that was greatly executed in the movie. If you liked the battle scenes in LORD OF THE RINGS, with the dragons, goblins, and trolls tangling with the last of mankind, then you will be equally aston… Continue

I liked Michael Clayton alot! The story was not your typical, run-of-the-mill, big lawyers story and the performances were really great.
That being said, I think this one may be an awards darling but not necessarily a big success with John Q. Public. The first half is a very slow, which I didn't mind because I was engrossed, but I am afraid it may lose/bore the casual movie-goer.
See you next time!
