About Me:: Like most people, I have a job, friends, and various hobbies, but writing about them here seems kind of generic, so I'll steer clear. I've lived in Austin, Texas, for a few years now, and I absolutely love it. I'm a refugee from the east coast, where I grew up, and although I sometimes miss New England winters, I'm generally happy in Texas, despite the heat (and no, it's not all full of cowboys and cacti, despite popular belief).

Hmm. Maybe I'll try and keep a movie blog. On top of all my other blogs. Sheesh.

So anyway, I just went to see "The Mist" last night after gorging on Thanksgiving turkey. I remember listening to the novella on audio years ago -- I didn't remember too much about it other than the basic premise -- a group of people trapped in a grocery store by some mysterious fog. I think you explore the Punk Angel character. I think she has potential for so much great imagery. Perhaps a series of paintings or even an illustrated novel.
