Some of the place names (towns & cities) are in Maori but as few New Zealanders speak Maori, you will fit in good. Just one thing to remember, we drive on the wrong side of the road. heehee. Good place to retire as we have plenty of trout and salmomn fishing in the rivers, many places for small craft, steam railway museums, vintage car rallies, golf clubs etc. You name it, we have it or you can start a niche market.
