EVIL DEAD was one of the first bootlegged, weirdo movies to ever warp me as a child. I sat in my darkened basement one day before school and watched the entire movie from start to finish. I even got a little ways into EVIL DEAD II before I finally headed off to school 20 minutes late. The first one I was pretty freaked out by. It was violent unrelenting and kind of unpleasent. EVIL DEAD II? Boy oh Boy. That one was like a carnival ride. Crazy camera work.. cartoonish gore...A dude with a chainsa… Continue

I'm not sure anyone actually reads my obsessive movie reviewing but I can feel a tension in the air already. "This know it all a***hole isn't gonna say he didn't like the Dark Kinght is he? Cause I'll BAT CHOKE the sonnabitch!" Relax, relax..I liked it. - Heath Ledger was great - Direction was super tight - Intricate, interesting themes and plot - Aaron Eckhart was great as Harvy Dent - Great job keeping a tense and unsettling atmosphere for 2 1/2 hours - Good job grounding Batman in reality… Continue

The Dark Knight, The Spirit, The Watchmen and the wheel of life Okay..here’s how it will go. - Everyone will back lash against The Spirit because it…well..it looks llke a comic book. In the 70s Dario Argento's films married two unlikely things-lurid violence and gorgeous visuals. His vibrant set design, use of color and imaginative direction made him a hit with both horror fans and critics. Many believe his best film is SUSPIRIA. The story of a young girl trapped in a dance school where strange events are happening, is both beautiful and terrifying. It's the stuff nightmares are made of and to this day, is considered one of the scariest films ever made. He followed that up… Continue

know as far as most of the critics are concerned (All except one that I know of) it's suposed to be superior to the original. I disagree. The first one may have been less epic but was alot more solid in my opinion. Then again the things I liked in the original we're the exact same thing some people didn't like. Then you got the people who just want great visuals. For me it was hit and miss... What I didn't like: - There were awesome visuals but it felt a little disjointed, almost like the stor… Continue
