You spillios and your never ending quest to turn me into one of those nerd girl has finally made some progress. I was in the book store today and like always i got dragged into manga/graphic novel section by my obsessed with all things Japanese friend. So i am scanning the shelves of vampires, corny romances, elves, and other random shit when I come across a yellow book that jumps out at me. In the back of my head I hear the several spillios who have been trying forever to get me to buy a comic… Continue

Romance movies…I have never been a big fan of them, perhaps I am to cynical or perhaps I grew hanging with to many boys. Either way they have never been my “cup of tea”. That being said I still have a vagina so I am not exempt from liking some of them. So this is Moxie’s list of the best romance movies. 1) Down With Love: Without question, this is the best romance movie I have ever seen. I caught it on TV one day and was hooked. I found it wity, charming and original (something most roma… Continue

I saw I am legend and unlike most people i actually liked it. I dont know why i just found it entertaining. Then again i have seen alot of horrible movies so it does not take much to impress me. Not to mention i am easily entertained. Anyway i was on cracked recently and came across a article(or whatever you wanna call it) about movies that were ruined by last minute changes. I am legend was on the list. Apparently in the original version it is reveled that the dark seekers...night seeker...what… Continue

Michael Bay aka the director of Transformers is producing a remake of the Birds. Which incase you didn’t know is one of Hitchcock’s biggest films. Well one of his many big films. I am really just writing this just to get the word out. I am not particularly excited about the remake because I had mixed feelings about the original. While I liked the movie, the ending killed me. It was the first Hitchcock film I ever watched where I consciously knew I was watching Hitchcock. I actually watched it i… Continue

wtf what was that kid doing!?!? i still can't get him out of my head.
Ah so you have started the weekend early on occaion. well thats good to hear its health to ditch every once in a while. i think i am going to take a health day from work this week.
HA i just read your about me section.....i try to con guys into taking me to movies or dinner all the time. hey i'm on the poor diet.....but like you i run into the same problem...their all poor too.....damn i need to pull an anna nicole and find some old dude.
WATCHMEN IS EXCELLENT *plays invisible guitar* I was engrossed but enjoyed it like a weekly tv drama its good stuff I think Zack Snyder may do a good job but its his speaking skills that probably give people doubt. For example when you hear Nolan speak he is clear and barely hesitates or reiterates his words and therefore communicates the idea much better. I think its very feasible to make the great movie everyone's expecting but whether the pacing, acting and overall depth of the novel come out as well is still a wait and see thing. Visually however it looks great from what I've seen of the trailers especially in IMAX, *tap dance* yeah!!!
The last minute shuffle before deadline. I've been there, its like opening a box with a question mark on it that each time I've opened a hand pops out and punches me in the face but each year of uni I risked opening it again confident that it couldn't possible happen another time.
I think a reworking of the sleeping schedule may help you work more efficiently, you've probably heard that before but I did it and was surprised about how much work I got done early in the morning and how I magically got tired at an appropriate time. Just gotta call it an early night a few times to pick the up the pattern.
RANDOM THOUGHT #1
- Metal Virgin's display pic should be a woman wearing a chastity belt made of cast iron. -
:P
Your doodle looked cool. Give me something you really want me to colour though. If it helps go conceptual, something which means a lot to you, think poetically...
Oh yh I finished reading watchmen recently...brilliant can't wait for the film. Zack Snyder doesn't really give me the vibe that he'll do it justice but we'll see, nuff said.
How have you been?
How are your studies going?
You know I love your brand of nuts as well......Wow that was another corny one
No i don't think I've ever seen it...what's it about? I've never heard of Status Strain either your comment back should be educational....I was having a good day, and it keeps getting better....How is your day going?
