Gotham is better then ever since Batman arrived. Crime is down, the mob is losing business and criminals are afraid to go out at night. Untill the Joker steps in. Joker becomes basicly the 'Kingpin' of Gotham. While Batman is hunting the Joker, Harvey Dent and Rachel Dawes are putting all the drug dealers and murderers in jail. Bruce Wayne trying to keep up with both his lives starts to support Dent.
Thats I'll I can say about the plot without spoiling it.
The cast is great just like the first movie. Heath Ledger was the perfect Joker. It's amazing that you could laugh at something his saying but then he kills people but you still like him. To me, Aaron Eckhart did a better job then Heath Ledger when he became Two-Face. When they first revealed Two-Face and showed him kill somebody then went right back to Joker and Batman I was upset because at that point Two-Face became the more interasting character. I didn't even noticed the change of Katie Holmes to Maggie Gyllenhaal. Everyone else was great but all the main characters outshined Batman.
I have no major problems with this film but I do have some minor problems. The biggest one is Two-Face dies. I hate it when a character that has never died in the comics, die in the movie, but this time it wasn't bad. The other problem is that Scarecrow was only in one scene. I was looking forword to seeing Joker and Scarecrow talking to each other but it never happened.
Also, they never tell Joker's origin but they give you some info on his past and the way they do it is just amazing. Those two parts are my two favorite parts.
This is a perfect movie for any Batman fan but so I have to give this a 97/100.
