After watching "The Dark Knight", I was blown away. Though it had its flaws, which were very buried and easily egnorable, I loved this movie. I have since been thinking about what they are going to do in the third movie (if they make one). One of my immediate thoughts was about having a sidekick for batman. So, I want to hear everyone else opinion on the subject matter "Should Christopher Nolan have a sidekick for batman in the third batman".
I say, absolutely no. Their are several problems I see with having a sidekick for batman. The first thing is, the kind of sidekicks we have to pick from. I can think of Robin and batgirl off the top of my head and I could never see them working in C. Nolan's films.
My other point is, what does batman need a sidekick for. The two reason I see them putting in a sidekick, is so they can have multipule villains in or more chaos and/or they want batman to be kidnapped. The kidnapping of batman would work in Nolan's world because we are heavily focused on batman's transformation and him being saved by a sidekick doesn't work. As for have multiple villains, Nolan's films also focus on the stories of the villains and if they add to many, they kill the theme.
So, in short, there should never be a batman sidekick in a Christopher Nolan Batman movie.
