Looks like someone said,"Hey, when I was ten I saw History of the World part 1 and Life of Brian; I didn't pay much attention to them but how about we make a movie based on what I vaguely remember about them?" God, this and Bruno at the same time? Could someone please turn up the brightness knob?

if you want to find a good laugh from cera and black when their both involved in the same project......check out "drunk history"....there videos of people drunk out of their fucking minds retelling moments from history.....and actors act it out....lip syncing to the drunken babble...

I LAUGHED 3 TIMES IN THIS MOVIE. EASILY A LOW RENTAL. "I WILL PART THIS SEA WITH THE HELP OF GOD AND MY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASS!"

wow....was this a writers strike movie? This was awful. I love Jack Black and Michael Cera but this movie sucked sooooo bad. There was some funny stuff, but so much was just awful that I give it a some old bull.

In the previews, I was praying to Darwin that this movie would have some sort of substance and I would enjoy it. It started, and, needless to say, I could really care less about what was going on. There were some laughs, especially with Hank Azaria and Oliver Platt ("Bitchlet" anyone?), but they were very few and far in between. Really, this movie was quite bad. Not bad enough to make me want to hang myself, but bad enough for me to feel terribly sorry for the Bible.

I liked it. (don't throw stones). I thought it could have been a lot better with the premise but all in all I'll probably buy the blue ray. The movie needed a better plot/point. It seems to just be a series of events.
