A drama based on a Texas congressman’s covert dealings in Afghanistan, where his efforts to assist rebels in their war with the Soviets have some unforeseen effects
I was skeptical going into this... thinking why are they glorifying a covert war that has spawned further fuel for middle eastern contempt for America, but it's about context, and I think the film makers frame it extremely well. It's fun, it's educational, and historically, they felt they were doing the right thing. I love the end quote and Hoffman's little fable about the horse... you just have to wait and see.
Syriana, Good Shepherd, Charlie Wilson.. ive been watching a lot of CIA movies lately, and not intentionally either..
so, now that the CIA is so visible and out in the open, who is running our covert operations?
Hitler's brain in Bruce Lee's body?

This movie was a great Film, But I would not say it was better than Sex. I guess Leon could not hold his load while looking at all the hot girls in the movie. LOL

Yeah, out of the dozens of movies they see every year, how odd that they'd enjoy a few.
Was I watching the same movie everybody else was watching? I couldn't possibly have been watching the same Avatar as everybody else. People are raving about this, calling it "revolutionary" and "a milestone in filmmaking." All I saw was an unorigina…
