I have bluray and HDDVD, they're pretty nice, but not at all necessary. I can put a dvd into my upscaling player and it looks pretty good. Its nice to have Hidef, but it really wont make much of a difference.

Well Carlyle, what I mean by free is you don't have to pay money to play the core game. The things you were talking about are ways to improve the core gameplay. But if your willing to drop $50 for an MMORPG, you should get one of the Guild Wars because its a WOW quality game with no monthy fee. I personally would pick the original Guild Wars because I enjoy the european theme.

I don't have bluray or hi-def, and at this time in my financial situation.... neither have precedence. It's taken me long enough to switch onto DVDs, now I gotta get new shit. I ain't picky, as long as it doesn't skip and isn't some crappy bootleg, I'm fine with a DVD. I grew up on VHS, I'm an old man at 24 (or at least feel like one). If I get the funds to upgrade, I might, but for now DVD *AND* VHS for me (just like Carlyle mentioned with records, though I'll add to it, there's a slight sentimental thing- why get rid of stuff you've had since you were a kid unless it completely degrades?) If VHS tapes can still play for me, I'll play em.

Anywho, I must concur with Carlyle also- nerd girls are hot, and I'm going to soon marry one (she's not like a very specific nerd, i.e. doesn't make me "do nerd things" in bed or some shit). She's sexy as hell, she's got a brain greater than four girls combined on Laguna Beach (maybe more), and we can talk about movies, TV, music, whatever any time. You get a good nerd girl- long as you yourself are kinda nerdy (or at least a little OCD-like)- you're in like flynt.

Mabinogi is one of the better free MMORPGs. I'll play it untill Warhammer Online comes out because that game is gonna own.

padawns are young jedis in training. when me and my brother where younger our dad would call us that sometime (i live with a famaly of nerds, exsecpt my mom =P). aas for blu-ray i realy don't care much for eather i just watch normal dvds on my craapy t.v
