Haven't seen it yet, but it seems like they should have gone without all that cartoonish crap and just make the film serious. Never cared much for the cheesy humour in the first movie.

This movie was a complete mess. There are more WTF moments and plot holes than there are stars in the sky. Some of the highlights (or lowlights):

WTF - Where did the Slutocon come from? Isn't there a better way to use an infiltration unit than sending her to college?
WTF - Why did they spend 45 minutes running through the desert for an artifact that they lose 15 SECONDS after activating it?
WTF - There is no giant field of burned grass and aircraft out the back of the National Air and Space Museum. I believe it's actually the Department of the Interior building...
WTF - If Megatron comes back after the judicious use of an All-Spark shard, then why did our heroes leave one in a safe back home?
WTF - Why, when there are actually some decent, if cartoonish, characters among both Autobots and Decepticons, do you create those awful "Twins;" Hipp and Hopp (or, if you will, Step & Fetchit). Also, why create an army of CannonFoddericons to both outnumber and then get obliterated by the US Navy?
WTF - Michael Bay took a page out of the George Lucas playbook - louder & faster trumps dialogue & character.

Save your money - if you need to waste an afternoon in the theatre, wait until it hits the second-runs and will only cost you $5.

What a total disaster!!!

Maybe it will be worth it just for Megan Fox?

The twins just look like pitiful and stupid, the same with the gremlin robot, why does it feel pain?! Meh, I'll skip it.

PS: Loving the image of what goes on in Michael Bay's mind xD

Man, you guys couldn't be more right. I do, however, think this should be seen on the theater due to the amazing special effects. Well, not unless you guy like a 50 inch screen TV or something.

also I didnt find the Twins offensive as much as I just found them stupid, unfunny, and took screentime from Ironhide, Ratchet, and other cooler Autobots

I agree with you guys except I would give it MATINEE because if you're gonna see it you should see it in theaters due to special effects.
I even liked Bad Boys, Bad Boys II, and even Transformers 1 but ROTF sucked pretty hard. And its worse to hear people say "yeah the movie had alot of flaws, but it's still an 8/10 movie"<<<<and thats an actual quote.
Megan Fox and Isabel Lucas are glorified props who cant act and 75% of the autobots were underused. But of course the movie gets a pass because it has hot girls and explosions.

I watch this movie whit big pleasure. I listen to spill audio review. I agree whit all mistakes but the Michael Bay did the best what he can whit the plot that they gave him. From the point of view of some badass critics its really sux, but average normal watcher won’t even find for what complaining about! It’s because they know what they want to see in this movie and they saw it and it was better than everybody aspect. If you want to see some super special effects and acceptable sense of humor than it's the best summer movie for you. If you are not a captiousness critic you will like this film and after watching it you even can't remember any bad things about it. I give it the strong “FULL PRICE MOVIE”.

that it makes fucking Mortal Kombat: Annihilation look like Citizen Kane!
