im with korey the first 2 acts were great but the 3rd act feels random and underdeveloped and as korey says the villain is out of nowhare and the other suprise is just random and the explanation for the plot twist is just dumb to me matinee

I had high expectations for the movie, and it delivered.... almost. I don't know, I guess I was expecting more from it. Action, maybe. The actors (I love Will Smith's fine ass) )and the plot were very good for me; hell I didn't even know that was Charlize Theron until the last half of the movie because she played a tired ass looking wife so well. "That's Charlize Theron? Durrrrr.... That's why she's hot now." Usually I always desire a sequel to a movie like this, but I left the theater pretty content with the ending. I also left saying, "Damn Hancock fucked that up. They'll never be able to get that red shit off." My only complaints was that camera. Wtf.

All in all I believe the movie deserves what the Spill Crew gave it.

Hanock was one of the best movies ive seen in a very long time. its actually different than most of the redone crap you see in theaters. as mary said in hancock they allways come after them. the villan in the movie wasnt supposed to be big he was one of the people mary mentioned. and when hancock 2 comes out i hope they will shed more light about the real villans.

I REALLY liked this film!

Even with the tonal shift over the twist being too quick, I gotta say that it was a clever set piece, dealing with a clever political concept on the first half and the nature of heroism on the other.

What really brings it down, though, is the underveloped characters: only Smith's and Theron's characters really have any substance, and hers comes WAY too far into the movie! The rest are just bland. Plus, no compelling antagonist, and a couple of other minor gripes, but beyond that, it's a clever, incredibly enjoyable film that I really do recommend. Go watch it!

I was sadly disappointed at the pacing of the second half of the movie and how confusing and unexpected it was. They also left in a lot of room for a sequel.

This has to be my fav movie of the year soooo far. I had all the elements: comedy, drama, action. Highly entertaining!! LOVED ITTTTTTTTT!!! *****Better than SEX for me
