Stewie, a huge Hannah Montana fan, learns that Miley Cyrus is having a concert at Quahog, but tickets to see it are sold out mere seconds after it is announced before he is able to buy one. Desperate to attend the concert, Stewie sneaks in backstage where Brian convinces Miley to give him tickets, saying he is her biggest fan and has cancer (a head tumor shaped like a football). Out of sympathy, Miley becomes Stewie's best friend. Later, Stewie notices something strange about Miley when he notices feedback coming from her cell phone while he hands it to her. Stewie and Brian spy on her and discover that she is an android created by Walt Disney Imagineering to create the perfect teen idol. Stewie decides to reprogram Miley when Brian asks if she can do "other stuff," but Miley goes haywire and rampages through the city.
Meanwhile, Chris does poorly on a test at school and blames the Evil Monkey living in his closet, which he says scared him while he was trying to study. Peter and Lois are fed up with Chris talking about the monkey, saying it doesn't exist, but are taken aback when Chris proves it is real by capturing it and showing it to them. The Evil Monkey turns out not to be evil after all. He explains he was forced to move into Chris's closet after his wife had an affair and divorced him (previously revealed in "Ready, Willing, and Disabled"), and pointing at Chris was only his way of trying to make conversation, the angry look was his way of thinking, and the trembling was due to a copper deficiency. Chris is at first unconvinced, but when Monkey helps him write a book report with a passing grade, Chris becomes great friends with him. Soon Chris realizes that Peter never gave as much attention to him as Monkey has just now and grows to resent him, while Peter becomes jealous of Monkey.
After Monkey helps Peter and Chris make up according to Lois's wishes, they see Miley Cyrus destroying the city. Monkey confronts her and attempts to talk her out of her rampage (as well as her career), but Miley kidnaps him and takes him to the top of a skyscraper á la King Kong. Fortunately, Peter is able to recruit Quagmire to shoot her down in a biplane and rescue Monkey. The android blows up after crashing to the ground, but Brian appears content that he can at least use her arm. Afterwards, Monkey moves out of Chris's closet and parts ways with him, saying he'll "go where [he's] needed", and moves to Tom Tucker's upside-down-faced son Jake's closet as his new haunt. When Jake calls out to his dad for help, his dad says "I don't care, son, I just don't care".
