There was a few laughs but overall it wasn't that funny most of the time and Bruno got on my nerves halfway through, the film but it wasn't terrible just a disapointment. LOW RENTAL
I thought this movie was pretty hilarious...thought the premise was of course a lot like Borat, but Sasha Baron Cohen went across the line more than he did in Borat. Movie Questions
I gotta say, as a queer guy this had MAJOR cringe factor for me. Seriously, NOBODY is that gay. But hey, it definitely had its funny moments. A mate of mine's dad owns a small theatre, and we watched this drinking a ton of beers, it was pretty good.
this guy is nothing new... when i was growing up we called him andy kaufman. and andy was funny. today sasha has to go to such extremes to get the reactions hes looking for that he has to edit beyond reality. nothing new... just attempting to be something new. and to be fair... i haven't seen the movies but have seen and heard the reviews and responses.

When I first saw Borat, Chohen was so good at playing the role of an ignorant foreigner I forgot he was doing it on purpose, and had to watch it again to get the full picture. In Bruno, there was absolutely no doubt he was trying to offend people, and I honestly think he went too far. The only scenes I truly enjoyed were the last two, the rest just kinda floated by(oh, and interviewing the parents, but I could watch a toddler beauty pegeant to see how far people will go to make their kids famous). The reactions of his victims were so obviously going to turn out like they did, and in some cases I expected more outrage tha actually showed up. So yeah, this should have ended with Borat, because while homosexuality is still a controversial topic, I highly doubt this movie actually did any good. If anything it gives people a reason to fear lol

I loved this movie. I thought it was gut-bustingly hilarious. But i will say this: there is a particular scene in the movie involving some swingers that I thought took it a little too far. I can't believe it didn't get an NC-17 rating. I usually never say anything like that but that's the one thing that just kind of made me feel a little too uncomfortable.
