I give this movie a FULL PRICE. This isn't a great movie, it is just really fun. You just have to suspend your disbelief and go with it. I completely agree with Korey about the hitcher basically being a terminator. I love how the characters were not typical stupid-ass horror movie fodder. Sean Bean was great and Sophia Bush is smoking hot.

I always hope these remakes are good because that's the only way my friends will watch them
they always hate anything more then 10 years old

I walked into this movie thinking it was gonna be a sequel to another film that starred Will Smith & that one fat dude from King Of Queens.


I just hope that if they come out with a movie called Hitchest,
it'll have a much stronger plot premise.

Sean Bean is a great actor; he can play good, bad, and in between (i.e. Boromir from "Lord of the Rings") guys well. It is sad to see his talent wasted on a movie like this. My brother and dad are big fans of the "Sharpe" series so I hope he will stick to making more of them in the future.
