I really thought this movie wasn't going to live up to the hype after watching this review. I was pleasantly mistaken. The whole "save the earth" message is somewhat crammed down your throat at times but it's completely forgivable. The atmosphere and charm of it really took me away and left me wanting more.
This review is pretty much on the spot overall but for some reason it just felt like a downer. I'm glad that feeling didn't follow through the movie. :)

Just got home from seeing this film. Why the hell was Fred Willard in it?
Don't get me wrong, I'd pay full price to see the movie again, but the distinction between real humans and our bloated, cartoony successors was a bit jarring and really threw that part of the movie off track.
Otherwise, this was how movies should be made.

How you gonna do this without Carlyle?! I think I first heard about this when Carlyle was all excited about this movie a few months ago. It could have been Cyrus , but whatever.
