I was kinda on the shelf about this one, but I might go see it now. If anything, for the fact that Disney might send some "muscle" if I didn't go see it...

I saw Wall-E with my 5 year old brother and I agree with Korey that the movie got too slow at times. It wasn't too slow for me, but for the younger kids. At the start my bro was very into it but then towards the middle he got confused. The questions went from "Is Wall-E sad about X" to "What's happening" to "Is the movie over?". At that point I saw other kids getting up and walking around the theater with WTF expressions. I've never seen that before. Most of the time the kids I see completely zone out the whole time for Pixar flicks.

Great movie! Fred Williard and other live action peoples in there was just stupid. They did that with Happy Feet, too. But with a Pixar movie? Nooooooooo! This movie made me want to jog around my house and pick up trash... Me and my friends saw obese people in a new light (as in still throwing nachos at them)

Well, Disney selling toys and all kinds of crap to kids is not really the same thing as companies selling all this new technology to make things easier that we don't need, like the hover chair in the movie. I think the movie is more about how all this new technology is taking over our lives and we're dependent on it. But, I guess it all depends on interpretation.

Screw that damn mouse! I'm with you all the way on this, Korey. This movie is a matinee at best.
