I watched it because I am a tool and like Matthew Perry, although I wasn't expecting it to be as funny as it was. It's no cinematic classic, but it was entertaining. Movie Trivia

I'll be honest, I was fairly surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. I enjoyed Zac Efron's performance as he really did deliver his lines in a very Mathew Perry-like way which for me was really important since he was playing a young Matthew Perry. As much as I liked his performance, what got me to really enjoy this movie were the scenes with Thomas Lennon. I loved his character in the movie and re-watch the movie just or his scenes. As for the rest of the movie, everyone else's performances were fairly good, aside from the girl who plays Perry's daughter. All in all I would rate it a low matinee.

i think this film was really good but i agree that the whole magic guy thing was just stupid. I dont like zac effron cus of the fact that he is the star of hsm and i fukin hate those films!!! but he is a really good actor.

This movie really was fairly decent. I mean, we've all seen some really really crappy "Old guy/gal turns young again" movies... This one was vastly superior to the majority of those movies. The main character's best friend was an amazing supporting castmember, and Zac Effron proved himself to actually be a pretty good actor and one to watch in the future. I'm thinking... Next Tom Cruise, seriously. Not that I love Tom Cruise, but c'mon... Y'all can all see it, even the haters. I agree with the overall review of RENTAL (that's how I saw it anyway), and it was worth it.

I just saw it on dvd and i thought i was going to hate it because i hate zach efron but it was really good the first time i saw him not in hsm and i was like WOW he could act and it was a ok plot not great and i had a few good laughs.i give it a rental and a matinee for the girls that love zach efron.

Like the other people who commented.... I too was suprised. I thought i was gonna hate it. But yea it was decent. And the main guy did a real good job. I mean how emotional he got seeing his son being bullied, i fucking believed him. So yea i'd like to see that guy aim for a more serious role...

I was surprised how decent this movie was.
Some parts were crappy, like the whole magic janitor thing, but it actually was a bit interesting,

My expectations were very low for this film. Before this movie i really hated zac efron. My siblings and a million other kids in the world love zac efron for high school musical, which i hated him in. But within the first 10 minutes of the movie i couldnt stop laughing. Full Price!
