Why do people want an Incredibles sequel but not any other pixar sequel? It makes no sense. Slightly hypocritical if you ask me.

@Charmingman93

I agree it didn't need one, but I'm sure more people are glad they did the sequels than aren't. Goes to show, whatever it is if they make it good enough to justify its existence then it doesn't matter.

I just dont get the love the film gets at all. It was was merely mediocre and rather forgettable for me. I think just the fact it was about superheroes was enough for lots to lower their bar of expectation. Feckin geeks.

For me it's because I loved that movie and want more of it and the ending teases it and left a possibility for a good sequel. It has to be satisfyingly good to be worthwhile though, I don't want a continuation just for the sake of it if they're going to do a terrible or mediocre job. I have a preference for this movie over other Pixar movies, it's just what I like, and I can see the same for other people, it makes sense there. As for hypocritical, I can see what you mean but I wont say it applies to every individual that wants a sequel for this.

Mean spirited how?

I just don't get why people love that movie as much as they do. It's cool and all but also quite mean spirited.

Maybe 2 more if they can make it on par with the first. Do you know what hypocritical means??

I don't want any sequels. I like leaving a story where it naturally ends. The point is the family is able to have more adventures...I don't think we need to see every single adventure they have after that.

Yea Toy Story is a good example but of all their movies, The Incredibles had the most potential for one. Instead we got Cars 2

I agree with Jon, the possibilities with The Incredibles are endless, what with the main characters as well as side characters.
