Funny how people didn't like lots of stuff about Avengers, but they still LOVE it (so no-one thinks any less of us).

I do agree, Avengers isn't strong in the stroy department, I actually didn't like the beginning that much, But I still loved it.

Agreed, I don't agree with people who think it is a masterpiece, it simply worked, against all odds and that makes it a success, something I thought it would never be. I was like Leon before it came out; "They aren't going to do the Avengers" or "The Avengers is going to completely fall apart". Boy, do I feel like an idiot now.

It's not creative in the story department but that's what I liked about it: it was simple. The strength of this picture was the characters. I love watching them interact with each other. If there were more character moments the movie would have been a lot better.
