OK. Much like you I have played all three Sly Cooper games several times to reach the 100% in all three. I just have qualms with this one and I don't know whether it's because of the game itself or my introduction to fanboy raeg.

Oh, Ok. I thought it started slow, but I liked it more as it went along, the story won't be top notch, but as someone who played and loved all 3 past Sly games, I am really enjoying this one, lag problems aside.

I might review the series as a whole along with a spoiler heavy sly 4 review to see my point, but it isn't BAD at least so far. At this point in the game, it can go up from here.
