I do only intend on making videos when I have time and have enough to actually speak about it. For example, I couldn't speak very much on Mario because it is quite a simple game. A game I love, but there's not much that could be said about it. Games such as Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and games that actually have deep stories would actually have the required material for me to go over. And as I mentioned it takes me quite some time to fully gather every thought I can when discussing something.

I know it does take time to make a quality video. However, my format probably won't contain special effects, fading in and out, and things such as that. And some people actually find discussions such as that entertaining. It just depends on if it's a subject that people may find and be like "Oh yeah, I remember that!". Or a subject that gives nostalgia and memories of playing the games discussed. And some people do like that format.

I don't intend on getting big or anything on YouTube. I only intend to post videos that people may or may not stumble upon. I do realize there are tons of YouTubers who post videos basically about nothing. However the site for those that do vlog is something of a social networking, interacting with other viewers and uploaders, etc. I do realize it's not quite the same form of social networking as say Facebook or Tumblr. Though not quite as personal, there are hundreds and thousands of blogs across the net that people don't care for. Yet some people find it and they either agree or disagree with the post being made.

I only intend this to be... something of a project to do on the side, when I feel there's nothing to do and I have time to gather my thoughts on certain games. As I said, there is no profit and it's for anyone who stumbles upon it, whether they agree or disagree with my opinions is perfectly fine.

However should I learn more on editing with effects for videos, that may be implemented in the future. However at the moment it will simply be my ruminations and thoughts on games, and perhaps every now and then some things from every day life. Your opinion is valid and I do thank you.

Dude, youtube is already full of losers who think that just because they have a thought that it MUST be expressed! Making quality material takes time, only do it if and when you have something to say that's worth saying.

I apologize if it came off as such, but I was not labeling anyone as a troll. Because as I said, everyone is open to their own opinions. Sometimes the truth hurts as they say, and it can be hurtful. And That's not trolling in my opinion. It is giving a valid input, which is good. That is what I was wanting, otherwise there would have been no point in having made this status for everyone to see.

I do have a reason for doing it. It's not for profit obviously. And for whoever stumbles upon it to hear my personal thoughts on games and things such as that. Some days I won't post, and some days I will. It's not as if I'm making a schedule to post videos. It takes me some time to fully gather my thoughts on certain subjects. I'm not making a target audience really, as there is no need to because I am not aiming to become a big youtuber or anything such as that. It's simply a way for me to communicate my thoughts to whomever finds it. Now if their opinions differ, that's perfectly fine. Everyone has the right to have a different opinion on things. It's normal as a human being to disagree, it's in our nature. But those that do agree may speak their opinions and such to add more input. That isn't to say those who disagree can't add their own input as well, but as long as it isn't trolling and actually is intelligent and gives an interesting points to look over again when comments are made.

I always try to keep things in a positive mood. And I don't really get deterred. If I make a channel, I'll start off with me making ruminations of some games I have enjoyed over the years. And if someone finds it and posts a suggestion of what to speak about, if I've played that game in the past I will gladly do so.

So I suppose I do have my point in a channel as little more than getting my personal thoughts out on games I have come to love over the years. Whether people like it or dislike it, that is perfectly fine, I am not applying to a real target audience other than those who may find it and may or may not find interest in my viewpoints.

Also, people disagreeing with something you say in a public comment isn't trolling. (Or rather, it wasn't until a bunch pseudo intellectual mongoloids warped the term for use in their straw man arguememts.)

If you upload something for the world to see, expect people to criticize and challenge your point of view. If you can't handle that, I'd definately avoid making a YouTube channel.

Oh I made a channel before. It was mostly vlogs and whatnot. Though at the time I was committed for the time, I slowly lost interest due to being busy, and because I didn't feel like dealing with the internet trolls who have nothing better to do with their lives than to mess with people just because their perspectives are different. I may do a channel about talking about games though because at this point, I really don't care about unintelligent trolls' opinions.

If you're thinking of making a YouTube channel but have no idea what to do with it, here's some advice:

Don't make a YouTube channel.
