The producers probably laughing to the bank, snorting cocaine off some Hollywood whore's chest, and crashing their lamborghini at Spago....only to come home to THREE more sports cars in the driveway.
The Oscars were never meant to be a whiny "I was RIGHT!" to settle bragging rights. It's supposed to bring the films most people in America pass to see awful movies like Twilight, some exposure and equal footing with the big name brands.
