This isn't to say that there aren't responsible users of Marijuana (there certainly are), but that your statement that it isn't a Gateway Drug is false.

It's viewed as a Gateway Drug because less responsible people than you go looking for a better high with other drugs. If I'm not mistaken, a study from a couple of months ago found that many patients in rehab for worse drugs started with Marijuana.
