Once you know what you're doing then its a very unique and amazing experience, rich lore but very subtle story telling, little hand-holding which I love, unique online interactions. I love it and Im glad the Professor speaks fondly of it and that made my picked it up.

Its hard to say I LOVE Dark Souls but Demons Souls was the game that kicked me in the ass as soon as I turned it on and made me think "Im not as good as I think" and I have 20 plus years of experience. The ONLY reason I bought a PS3 was that I saw the trailer to Demons Souls. Honestly to me The Souls Series is my favorite Series in this gen.

It's brilliant and since back in old days I never played RPG's (I stuck to side-scroller beat em ups and such) I'd say it's the best RPG I've ever played.

I dunno about that, but I just started playing it myself. For a game I constantly die in it's surprisingly addicting.
