We had a down few years, they happen, Rich Rod gutted the program and didn't recruit receivers or for defensive depth. Hoke has beaten both MSU and Ohio State, they barely beat us this year. The Rose and the National Title game are primed for next year.

It's embarrassing that streak against a farm college like MSU. Lansing is such a dumb frat town any kid with a 2.8 GPA can get in and live in Sterling Whites.

During the 80s and 90s when I was in Michigan, the Rose or National title was not hoped for but expected. Not anymore. It's hope for any Bowl.

Yea, that's why OSU continues to dominate and thank goodness FINALLY beat MSU. I mean, my generation NEVER had that happen. Never mind would never stand for that Spread Option crap under Rich Rod.

Has not adjusted? We've added the top pro-style QB recruit, just added more depth on defense since Dawson decided to go to Ann Arbor instead of Columbus, have a pipeline into Florida and Ohio and have been slowly building our talent base and depth back up to what it was pre-Rich Rod. Things are headed in a great direction, if we had a QB who could throw against Alabama and Nebraska, we're looking at another 10-11 win season and a rose bowl berth.

That's the least of Michigan's problems. The program as a whole has not adjusted to the SEC style and the level of competition is incomparable. Glad my brother was alumni for their last National Title, it's going to be a long winter for Ann Arbor and the kids of High Street.
