Trying to reboot it just makes things more complicated for the current reader, and the new reader as the writers now have to pick and choose which parts of the last 50 (70 years for cap, namor and all the WW2 heroes around in marvel today) to say happened without confusing the new reader. You basically have to figure out from a 1000 page novel of short stories of one character what the clip notes are, but you have to remember all 1000 pages have something meaningful to someone. On top of that you have to make these clips notes digestible to the NEW reader. You have to decide if One More day is the only time aunt may almost died, if Harry and Norman osborn died like 5 times each but came back. it's way to much pressure. that's why we have stuff like the alternate universe comics(ultimate, all star, Max) and the one-off graphic novels where you can mess with the universe in great terms and not have to worry about "Oh well in Amazing spider-man #148 this says this happened so this story is bullshit".

Not actually there are points where readers can't jump on and certian selected reading they can read up on if they simply ask, Also DC failed in their reboot in 3 aspects: 1. they kept some of the character's complicated histories(almost, keeping everything from recent green lantern) 2. made some things happen in the past with characters who have another comic dealing with them in the "present". 3.They took characters who'd previously been apart of another universe enitrely for years and brought them into normal DC, some like they've always been there.

that is also a problem alot of time's most ppl will not know of this history unless you read every thang and that to mch time and work (persnaly i thank Marvel shoud have reboot insted of DC)

No because it's suppose to be one interconnect universe especially as some of those "side" superheroes have long and storied histories with those main heroes.

well i dont know if that did this but what if that had this (MARVEL D1 :all the main superhero's and MARVEL D2: all the side superhero's ) idk it just a thought

I agree with marvel only because they don't space them out (a large majority operate in new york) DC I don't agree
