This will probably have a pixel issue like the DSiXL, so I'm just gonna stick with my regular sized 3DS

WOW. Nintendo should focus on making better games, and less on gimicks.

Also Dlc for new super mario bros 2 just like everybody wanted right ?

They said they were gonna focus on the core gamer but all they showed are mainstream games and one gimmicky zombie game that looks like its the wiiUs Red Steel

I'm not sure on how large exactly the demand, but based on most all the feedback I've heard, the problems people have with the current 3DS seems to be related to what they're adding to this update.

Was the demand for a newer 3ds that big? I didn't know that.

...on 3rd party support and with E3 and Ubisoft they've shown they meant it.

The DS does great with plenty of games to support itself. They're not a developer they're an electronics company. Aside from that bigger screen and longer battery life is what consumers have been asking for of the 3ds, as for the WiiU they've specifically made it clear they are putting more focus on 3rd party support and with E3 and Ubisoft they've proved they mean it.

I'm not talking about that what i'm trying to say is I feel that Nintendo is focusing more on hardware instead of software with stuff like this and the WII U. A larger screen isn't going to get that many more customers for nintendo for a platform that still doesn't have that great of a software library.

You're right, updating their handhelds has never been a good idea for them...except the DSi & DS Lite...and the SP...gameboy pocket...
