That would mean alot to me,dude.
you left a message concerning my criticism over Cyrus' comments over Billy Ray's UFO shtick. I understand THAT. In fact, I agree with his sentiment. My problem is the way he went about making his point, by making fun of Billy Ray's regional accent (as exaggerated as it was). Trust me, I KNOW people who talk like Billy Ray, some of whom I call friends. That's where I'm coming from. And If I came off as overly sensitive, then I will apologize to you and Cyrus. But I've been raised and schooled that ideas should always be challenged, not the expression of the ideas being conveyed. That's all.
The book (Repossession Mambo) and the screenplay were written at the same time (in conjunction with a screenwriter) around 2003, but the book didn't get picked up by a publisher until 2009. Just like with his previous book (Matchstick Men), the book was optioned as a movie before it got published. Universal liked the book so much, that they bought the rights to it in 2007 and went forward with making the movie before the book was even published. Garcia's written a few books in between, as well. It's kinda like how Fight Club wasn't Chuck Palahniuk's first novel (he actually wrote Invisible Monsters first, but couldn't get it published until Fight Club succeeded as a novel).
So basically, it was written in 2003, shopped around for years, Universal bought the movie rights and started making Repo Men in 2007, then a publisher bought the book rights in 2009 and published it. Hope that helps clear it up. :)

Dr, Who used to be shown on Sci-Fi channel. But with the station change, and the fact that the "Seasons" aren't being shown right now, I don't know if the show will be on the Syfy channel or not.
Currently, David Tennant's run has ended. They are currently filming the "next" doctor in the series, and no word on when they'll hit US channels. But, David also did 4 tv-movie type shows, and we've just gotten done with the 2nd one Planet of Death, with Waters of Mars coming to BBC America soon.... but no date yet. =(
When I hear more, I'll let you know. But keep an eye on Syfy.
