I think the last Cranford episodes were the two-part 'Return to Cranford'. Not sure if there are more to come but like you said, Downton more than makes up for the loss.
Yea that show we did was 5 hours long and no I do find twilight offensive for the fact that they sell this bullshit to 13 and younger girls and these lil girls sit up here believing this crap bad movies like this don't need to be supported because then Hollywood thinks it's ok to present us with Red Riding Hood and fucking Beastly so thank you twilight lol
