Yes...i know what you mean about the volumne of photos! I just sort of ran with it after the first time to see how many different characters i could collect. I post just once a month, so it's not overwhelming to other members here on the site. I am a movie buff after all first and foremost! I WAS going to see "Skyline", but after the guys' review, i guess i'll wait for the DVD! Harry Potter on the other hand will be my next flick to catch. TRON2 looks good as well, since i saw the first film in the theatre and loved it (showing my age!).......is there anything in particular you are intrerested in seeing this holiday season?
I guess i'm your basic Otaku who enjoys anime and Japanese culture....and i certainly like female cosplayers. Alas, i'm no photographer. I would have to say Kipi is my favorite model in that catagory.
I've only ever been able to get my hands on a few issues of Dylan Dog, so calling it a fandom is a bit of a stretch, not by my own wishes. Certainly think it would be a good idea for some American publisher to put out a big collected translated volume over here.
Just let people decide for themselves. And DEFINITELY fruit juice. What, you're gonna mix vodka with skittles? I'm talking orange, cranberry, and grapefruit for a well-rounded selection.
Thanks! For a party just get a bottle of whiskey and some coke and a bottle of vodka and some cranberry and orange juice. That'll keep a whole room happy. If you want to get a little fancier, I recommend finding a good margarita recipe online and follow it to make blender ritas. You can substitute all kinds of fruit for the lime juice and make them all kinds of kick-ass.
Re: Iron Fist - cancelled. It breaks my heart. I'm not terribly surprised, but I hope he doesn't get ignored for a few more years, like he has in the past.
Wow..i guess you never know by appearances! I was never much for drinking, even in my younger days. (of course that changed when i got married! HA). If you step back and observe people who are drunk,, it turns you off big time, at least for me. Well, when i go to conventions with my daughter, we are thankfully not exposed to that. I know alot goes on back at the hotel after things shut down for the day, that's why i always get a place to stay FAR away, but close enough by taxi, to avoid the crazy room parties and noise.
There's been loads but the main problem is fitting co-host in as a character. That's why a lot have had robots in!
I can sometime get round it like with the pulpFiction one where he's the back of Baldie Marsellas Wallaces Head or the Lord of the Rings on wher he's the Eye of Sauron but it's getting trickier plus some film titles just don't lend themselves to fitting the word SPILL in them which is also a problem! You'd think there'd be an unlimited supply of inspiration but also you have to take into consideration how well known a movie ref is as well so it's pretty tricky but a lot of fun! I probably spend more time brainstorming em than actually drawing them!
