You're welcome! Thanks for the invites. Enjoy your day off and don't forget - just `cause you're not in school doesn't mean you don't have to do the homework due tomorrow!!
Me too! We made waffles for breakfast & watched Charlie Brown Christmas while we ate it, practiced music for holiday concerts, shoveled/played in the snow, made gingerbread cookies, did homework and are getting ready to play a board game! Tons of fun at our house!
Oh I love the Fall especially when the leaves are turning reds and yellows.
Believe it or not Macys day parade is pretty well done for such a big event. However, how early you arrive is related how close you want to get. If you're in Times Square 6am is usually perfect. If you're at Central Park maybe 7 or 8 am. Its all relative. I don't think you have to get THAT early to see the balloons but lately I've been noticing a lot of rednecks bringning ladders to the parade. So they perch themselves on the ladder and no one can see behind them for several rows back.
Their A Christmas Carol is VERY authentic...it's just that the parts that always impacted me the most are over done with stunts and special effects. I might feel different if i were now a kid and this was my first exposure to the story.
Yes I have always been interested in becoming a writer and I think its good for me to write cause I have a very good imagination. I find some truth in the saying that The Pen is mightier than the sword so I hope my pen has the power of the Force so I hope that'll be enough lol. May the Force be with you in your writting to and I hope you are sucsessful!
Its funny Im writting a book about the different battles the Olympians and the Titans had in the Titanomachy and then Percy Jackson is getting its own movie! I hope my book becomes that successful lol!
Ha ha yeah I wonder why its snowing so early?, Hey did u guys ever go see Startrek? and I hear u know what happend to Harry Potter after the series ended, how did u find out?
yeah, right? JKR did out dumbledore as a homo, but i thought it was cool, the gay dude as a joke is geting a lttle old, i felt like having one as a hero was really cool of her, especially with all of the bigotry towards them.
I always reply to my comments years after anyone has posted them haha. Those videos were awesome! I showed them to my sis as well!! Have you seen this?
My sis says they all sound like pigs go to slaughter and I choked on my food from laughing. But, the clips look good. I'm surprised they showed the 1st clip considering its the vital point in the book.
Hey Fab, just to elaborate a little more on my response. I also feel that the water drinking scene in the cave was rushed, but that's sort of the problem with all the movies if you ask me. They just don't have time to impart the resonance that the book achieved when you experienced them that way. Sometimes when I'm watching the movies I wonder how anyone who didn't read the books even has a clue what the hell is going on.
I do have to say that I think David Yates has done a really good job with the last two movies over all and feel I can look forward to the next two installments of the last book. Do you feel the same?
hahaha, I dont want to ruin anything but I NEVER nitpick at the HP movies. I just take them as they are and they are ALWAYS enjoyable to me. But, this movie doesn't exist to me. Like my sister says "Harry is not even Harry in this movie. It's almost as if he wasn't the leader of Dumbledore's Army last year."
Let me know what u feel after seeing it tomorrow! :)
Thanks fer friending! We have the lone and kinda run down drive in that will play whatever it can afford. I kinda wish they still had the old speaker boxes that you hung in your window instead of the radio dial thing.
The 35+ is very new and started by yours truly. I'm hoping to snare every person who watched Mork and Mindy on ABC and not Nick at Nite.
I also have kids who are just old enough to appreciate the only surviving drive in in the bay area. I just wish they'd show something appropriate for ten year old twin girls at some point this summer.
Thank god! Another 40 year old! I have also loved films thanks to my dad but in my case it was from secretly watching Jaws on the other screen at a drive in. We were supposed to be watching the Apple dumpling gang or something equally as horrid but I wanted to see Quint get eaten. Star Wars came shortly after.
I have two friends who happen to be dudes. They also happen to be best friends. A particular quirk they both share is they repeat something they find funny over and over and over and over... it's funny the first couple of times, but they can't seem…
This is for Spillers who like going out regularly like myself. From now on I will regularly organize nights out with other Spillers and we'll do a pub crawl, go bar hopping or go out clubbing. These are not Spill Parties. These are Spill Outs
You cant always listen to the Spill Crew or any critic for that matter. Sometimes you have to watch and judge a film for yourself. Well here is one of those rare times when you should listen and obey the Spill Crew without question. The rating of “S…
