well I had surgery on it..and I still have not see it, since that time....it is not just a matter of taking the cast off...it has to do with the incision and whether it is doing ok...etc....with no infection.......

but thanks for the suggestion..with my luck I would end up back in the hospital.

but I am nursing a broken ankle after surgery....so in effect I was trapped already....I can't get out in it..can't drive or shovel...just pretty useless at this point....

I was supposed to get my cast off tomorrow..but the storm caused a delay for my appt to next week....
