Happy Holidays to you and yours and a happy new year. May next year bring us somewhere different, somewhere better, somewhere happier. Or we can just accept the fact that the world is constantly moving towards chaos as entropy is the only force ruling the earth. But I digress
We are only as happy as we make ourselves out to be.
Hey I was thinking whether or not I should to an apology video promising that I would do something new for WRGAH....but what? I trust your judgment so what do you think?
Ok for Western RPGs you have Elder Scroll IV: Oblivion, Mass Effect, and coming you we can see Fable 2 and Fallout 3.
As for JRPGs there is Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesparia and Infinite Undiscovery. If you want info into any of these games please tell me and I will inform you. Of the ones out now I would go for Tales of Vesparia, then Eternal Sonata, and then Lost Odyssey. Not that Blue Dragon and Infinite Undiscovery are bad games but they are not as good as the former 3. However, with its reduced price ($20) Blue Dragon is worth it as it is more like an early JRPG in the vain of the first Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest games. New releases for JRPGs go as follows: On Nov 20th SquareEnix releases The Last Remnant which looks interesting. Next year we should be getting Final Fantasy XIII and Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Both are made by SE and both have very little revealed info. I think after TGS I will have some more info and maybe some concrete dates. Hope this helps you.
Thank you for the advice. The fruits of a shitty labor will be up sometime Friday.
Oh and there are things scarier then Condemned but I understand. My friends are still afraid of RE4 to go into my game room after 10pm (which is when I play my nighttime only games).
Thank you for posting that you enjoyed Castle Crashes. I mean the review were good but I was still slightly hesitant. Now I will finally pick it up (when I put all of my college apps in...damn it). In addition, as someone I think likes my taste in games (did I help you out from before, just wondering) I want to know your opinion of me doing a video show about my favorite potable games (which are my so called specialty)?
That should not be too hard to find, the watchmen that is. I got myself a new copy. Also you are definitely awesome for knowing anything about Ides of March.
Okay man here's the skinny on some games:
Condemned: Criminal Origins: I nice, short, cheap, thrilling experience. Better than the sequel. Awesome story, great action.
Dead Rising: While a few flaw present itself that made me not want to buy it playing it through at a friends house really changed my mind. I have really wanted a game where I can mow down Classic/Slow moving Zombies.
Viva Pinata: If you like to micromanage.
Ninja Gaiden 2: Since I am going away soon I will not be playing buying it, but I have friends (yet again) and have put in a good five hours. Its hard but still good. What I personally would do is buy the first over Xbox Live. I sold it along with my Xbox but I was fun while it lasted. And with that...
Psychonaughts: A must buy if you like games as art. It's also a funny and inventive platformer.
Bionic Commando: Rearmed: Released tomorrow over Xbox Live and complete revamp of a classic NES/Arcad game. I am waiting for the reviews but I have good hopes for it.
What's are some of your favorite themes? Not a piece of music from the soundtrack, but the actual piece of music attached to that franchise.
