Ok, the group and I have set our own itinerary for those dates. I know you have your own game plan so you can come and go as we rattle down our weekend: link
Oh ya, I'm still watching, and agreed, season 2 has really kicked things into high gear early, and I'm really digging it.
Also, as much as I HATED the early episodes of Ultimate Spider-man, and still don't like it anywhere NEAR as much as the dearly departed Spectacular Spidey, the last few episodes of Ultimate haven't been horrible either. I actually kind of liked last weekends episode where they had a kind of found footage team up with the Hulk. They seem to be cutting back on the GOOFY elements of the show, which is a good thing. I still hate the voice actor for Spidey though.
Mate I had just watched MI4 again on Blueray and Haywire had everything that was lacking!
Plus I got to look at Gina Kicking arse instead of Tiny Tom Cruise! lol
are you a bit down mate or do you mean the Journey music just makes you soar because it does have that effect! I went back and downloaded a wee game called LIMBO and man there's another classic experience! although at opposite ends of the emotional spectrum from Journey lol I thought maybee me and George could play it but that sh*t got dark! did you play that one?
BEHOLD! Punisher MAX hardcover Volume 1 signed by the great, Garth Ennis. Tell you this much, he's all business. I think he only broke his flat affect when I said, "Thanks for making comics...y'know GOOD again!" Didn't flinch when I told him to sign one book for my non-spill friend Charlie at the Guardian in London and yourself in Australia. Which could be him being tired, doing this a million times...and trying to stay professional or the Belfast way of saying, "Who gives a shit!"
Conversely, Brian K. Vaughn nearly hugged and kissed me when I said, I was sending his books to Berlin and Australia. This utter feeling of appreciation to be back in comics and people sending his work overseas was flattering I would imagine.
Not a judgment but interesting studying these writer's facial ticks.
If you're wondering if I am getting anything for Captain Humungus. I'll bring that with me to Austin at Spill dot con. His signings don't begin till next Friday. I want to expand his palette.
I've pretty much been off line all weekend and Monday as well, so I'm just now seeing these. Dam, that guys a good artist, and I get where he's coming from with those, but I'm almost on "The end of ME3 Sucked" overload at this point. Of course I'll give the new free DLC a look when it comes out, but I really don't know what they could do to clean up that mess, and almost don't care at this point. They did make for a good quick read though. :-)
He loved it! took to it straight away and got so into playing it with a friend he thought he'd been with the same person the whole way lol. I tried to record while we played but he was so wrapped up in it he wasn't saying much. He was too wee to apreciate the end and got kind of confused by the cyclical nature of it but i think it's one to pull out in a few years and play through again with him.
mate that's so cool! i was getting help from a white cloak last night, he was showing me where more glyphs were but alas i'm still red ;( soon the game will be full of white cloaks lol
how many do you need? i think i had about 8 maybee?
have you had a film over your end yet - Wild Bill? I know you sometimes get our stuff much sooner, anyway it's a pretty decent london flick with a cool cast, kind of East end western actually.
Ha! I played it again the other night just to see if it played any different 2nd time, found more stuff seemed to get a longer scarf maybee and noticed loads of little touches like the shooting star/souls flying overhead and the graves, it is amazing!
does anything different happen the more you complete it?
I think I'll do a Pickle Pod with George playing it, see what a 7 year old makes of it lol
;)
Mate have you seen Snowtown? or is it too close to home?
Well, that's the beauty of having a Yank on the other side of the world living in Little Italy for the last 16 yrs snuggled in the birth place of the American Comic book industry.
I'll check to see what volumes are available and place them aside for the next salvo fire. :)
I thought at first the little guy was computer controlled, it was amazing to follow this other 'thing' around then you slowly start realising what things do and yeah making little calls to each other it got sooo intense especially the dark bits with those huge hunting monsters! mate when I twigged it must be another player/s I flipped my sh*t! and the trudge up the snowy bits was insane then the flight at the end like I say my eyes were streaming but not from normal crying! but through such an emotional high I think! I cried like that when wee George was born but I'll be fucked if I ever thought a game could pull that off!
I'm recomending it to mates but don't want to hype it too much but I just don't think you can
mate I can't remember when a game got me like that! maybee Ico
Shit! I had tears streaming down my face at the end, not sobbing tears I was just sitting there in the dark in stunned silence with a leaking face lol and my brain mashed.
Looking forward to it, sir. When you get a chance pvt message me a list of things you want to do in NYC. Planning early is the key to every thing in this town.

Awesome! Ennis just started Fury MAX for Marvel. I think it could be BETTER than Punisher MAX.

NICE! I await the word that you have secured the treasures from NYC from the vault of the Post! :)

Cheers mate!
I'll be staying at the downtown Four Seasons hotel in Austin for Spill Dot Con.
I am waiting on sending your Brian K. Vaughn signed book because Garth Ennis is here next Thurs So might as well get one more before shipping off.
