Yes, it does have multiple ones. The Ultimate universe is separate from the normal one. Much like DC, Marvel has quite the extensive Multiverse, but it doesn't cause trouble for them nearly as much as DC's does mainly because they don't cross-over with them as much.
Have YOU read it or even looked at it? Frank Miller just spews his extreme political views with no subtlety and crowbars members of the Justice League to make commentaries on their political affiliations that don't even make sense. And he didn't even try on the artwork. he phoned in the penciling and it looks like the whole thing was inked with a live rat's tail over the course of one weekend.
You should ask Leon why "The Dark Knight Strikes Back" is crap. He'll have a much more eloquent answer than I, especially since I never even finished reading it. Your selections look good though.
