Going home for the Holiday?..I am so confused..I feel like Thanksgiving should be this week..LOL
I have to go buy UP tomorrow..love that movie...
I just went back to work yesterday & as a rating system I would have to say some ol' bullshit...it just never changes or ends..it just gets worse..LOL..oh well at least we are closed tomorrow..thank goodness..LOL
Not much else to report..the podcast thing gets better every week & I love it...=D we just have a lot of fun doing it ....I am not sure how many people enjoy listening to it...but hey maybe we will get more of a following as time goes on..can't wait for the Christmas podcast..that is my area of expertise..I actually started decorating the other day..LOL..I know I know..but I had to do it, when I was in the mood or it would never get done...lol...so I just put in some Christmas movies & made a day or two of it..and I baked some cookies....=D

Thank you so much..so far so good....
My foot needs to be propped up & iced off & on....I have crutches for getting around..I can step on my foot as I can take it..still have stiches in & I can't get it wet..have to go back to the Dr's on the 31st... so I have to stick with washing my hair in the kitchen sink & washing up with a wash cloth in the bathroom sink..no showers yet..

So..how has the refresher going with Japanese & such?..Well?..I hope so....=D
I want to see The Hurt Locker..ever since I saw the trailer for it..I wanted to see it.....I have heard so many great things about it...look forward to seeing it...

I Loved & Adored Julia & Julie..such a great movie..and now I want to try french cuisine..and learn more abut Julia Childs....

You know....it is always so good to hear from you..you are like an old friend that manages to come along at just the right time & bring a bit of cheer into my life...just so glad that you stuck it out with me... I would soooo miss my funky peep!
Work is stressful? Hello?..LOL that is what I have been trying to say..LOL...Customers are stupid? Co-workers aren't much better?..Now we are on the same page..LOL
But my one co-worker has been cracking me up with her obsession with thr Twilight books...
She just started reading the first book last week & is already have way thru the 4th & final book!....
She wants to talk about & yet..she prfoesses.."Don't tell me"..LOL and then she starts asking me again..LOL
Foot surgery is for my left foot..I have some spurs from arthritis on the top of my left foot & the nerve gets tangled up in it & well..it hurts..so they will go in & shave the bone down...the right one has the same issues but it hasn't ever been as bad as the left one...you know this old gal has been on her feet for years..guess it shouldn't be too much of a surprise..LOL
I am glad that you & your friends think your friendship is worth fighting for..=D..sometimes it is just so easy to give up & give in...you know?..so it warms my heart to hear that this is not the case for you....=D

I agree, the programming is the key factor for how SyFy is going to be like.
However, they Change over Tuesday night at 9pm (Est) right before they show Warehouse 13...TWICE in a row, and a total of SEVEN showing from Tuesday at 9pm until the following Monday evening. That is of course, NOT including the use of a Day-long marathon for Ghost Hunters on one day, and another Day-long Marathon for Eureka on another day.
I don't know Capt. Seems to me like they are putting a LOT of their faith on the Warehouse 13 show being good, and I hope that it is. But if that fails to get the audience, what do they fall back on? They've already flooded the programming with Ghost Hunters and Eureka only has like 8-10 episodes before the season is over. Is it even possible to "build a brand" on three 1-hour shows? Time will tell, I just wish they kept the Sci-Fi name though, would feel more comfortable with it.
And how do you like it?
