I am eight years old. Some of my friends say there is no Santa Claus. Papa says, If you see it in the Sun, it's so." Please tell me the truth, Is there a Santa Claus?
In one of the most famous editorials ever written, the editors replied:
Virginia, your little friends are wrong. They have been affected by the skeptical age. They do not believe except what they see. You tear apart the baby's rattle and see what makes the noise inside, but there is a veil covering the unseen world which not the strongest man, nor even the united strength of all the strongest men that ever lived, could tear apart. Only faith, fancy, poetry, love, romance, can push aside that curtain and view and picture the supernal beauty and glory beyond. Is it all real? Ah, Virginia, in all this world there is nothing else real and abiding.
No Santa Claus! Thank God he lives, and he lives forever. A thousand years from now, Virginia, nay, ten times then thousand years from now, he will continue to make glad the heart of childhood.

Who do you usually spend it with?..Glad to her that your fine meal was a smashing success...that sounds nice...sorry to hear about the amp..that is a real bummer..will this mean that you won't get to be in the concert? I hope not..:(..what do you mean about your friends? Why would they say such awful things to you? That is just so wrong..I am sorry that you had to go thru that...how terrible....that makes me angry....guess they weren't much in the friend's department, huh? ..well you can talk to me..I will listen..you seem pretty great to me...so I don't get it....I thought Vancouver is supposed to be beautiful....it isn't? so..you are on your own? No family..no real friends...? That must be rough....for you...:(...so you had the same problem as me with the cds, huh? Yeah I have heard that fans help...but the time I do go to bed now..I do sleep because it is only for a few hours..I may have to break into them soon myself so I can get a good 8 hours..I need it bad..just keep wanting to fall asleep on the way to work..not good..lol,,yeah my nephew loves the piano..he trys to get me to sing along while he plays..we are both big fans of Michael Buble....and he plays Honesty by Billy Joel..and Your Song by Elton John..and Home by Michael Buble...he is getting pretty good & he sings good too..his friend sings for a living. We are going to his Christmas concert next week..I may post a video, if my nephew records one... Sorry for the blasphemy..but Tis True!!!!..seems like you are too young for that problem..I ues to try & listen to quiet music to relax..I would make specific cds..but I found after awhile that I would fall asleep, but then it was waking me back up..so I realized that it wasn't helping..it was making it worse. I find that drugs help..lol..actually I had a problem @ work one day..the stress built to a point where I felt like someone was pushing against my face..my arms & my chest..left to go to the Dr's..had to have a stress test to prov eit wasn't my heart, but stress related ..I must have had an anxiety attack. My Dr. gave me something, so that if I have one of those days, I can take it, so I can relax & go to sleep..I don't hardly use it, but it's nice to knoe I have a back-up plan..there is one person @ work that makes it worse..and for awhile there..it was such a mightmare..can't believe that one person can cause so much emotional distress...Wow!! you made pie?..Impressive....that is really nice about the concert..that is cool that you are involved with that center..goodfor you...:)..polkas are not easy to play & after a lot of practice I was getting good..that was along time ago..thought it was one of the things pushing me over the edge..I really wanted to earn to play the piano..but my teacher just kep bringing me polkas....my Mom was made @ me, when I quit, but I just didn't like it....Love-able & clumsy? whatan awesome combination..lol..the fact that you took the time to write back & in such a way makes you good people in mu book..maybe you can be like my little bro..seems like you would make a good one..I think of my nephew as my brother because we are only 8 years apart..weird to be an aunt when I was just 7.....just got back form seeing 4 Christmas's & I am happy to say it was funnier than I expected....Take Care of yourself & I want to hear about this concert...ok?
