I'm actually more worried about my boss giving me time off.
You know you're walking on egg shells when the boss said to me this morning, "You around tomorrow? I want to talk to you about your vacation request..." Which is anxiety riddled because I already book my Iceland trip with my girlfriend in March and the other vacation is with my brother Chicago-New Orleans-Austin. So I'm going to see if I make that hurdle FIRST before making any further prognosis.
Of course, I'll let you know as soon as possible. If those 10 days are approved, I would imagine I will be in Chicago on June 8-11.
The only wild card, I don't really know if my brother has anything planned but we both have an open door policy when it comes to bringing people to a gathering.
When we last spoke, ironically it was right before I was leaving for Spill dot con. That was the first time in 3 years. Recently he moved back to the Midwest from from LA to Chicago when his company had an opening. I'm sure after the obligatory introductions to strangers who have zero interest in me nor I in them (very similar to spill dot con)...we'll begin the great journey of laughing, boozing, and talking about stuff that doesn't really matter. ;)
(oops, was logged into the admin account still) I know, right? Funny enough, right after we finished recording that segment we went outside for drinks and I found out that nearly everyone in our circle of friends who agree with me wholeheartedly about Transformer all happened to not be on mic for that segment. C'est la vie. :)
The thing is, I don't really know where I'm going to be this summer, although a certain spillio has offered to share expenses with me if I do go to the con. I really want to go, but I really should be working on finding a job and not spending my money just yet.
I understand....I just happened to notice that it had been awhile....
I loved Hugo..saw it in 3D..thought it was exceptional....just saw Young Adult....not as funny as advertised...much more serious, but Charlize Theron was great in it....well I had my shopping done already because we my family celebrated our Christmas last weekend....I have to work on Christmas Eve and my Mom did not want to do it late...so it worked out better...got to do a bit of dancing with my nephew's new game and that was a lot of fun and a good work out....=D...as far as our celebration..I always look forward to reading Twas the Night Before Christmas and this year we did a Zombie version..=D..and singing a few Christmas carols...what about you?
funny you have that wrestling pic...I just asked my nephew what he wanted to be, when he grows up and he said maybe a wrestler..=D...guess he is a big fan of John Cena......I am partial to The Rock for obvious reasons..LOL
I took him to see Real Steel at the IMAX and we loved it.....it was pretty awesome.....
I went to my niece's soccer game today.....she seemed to actually have a grasp of what was going on.....pretty good for a 7 year old..=D..I was just glad that we got a bit of a heatwave this week..the weather has been great and I am loving the leaves....the colors are spectacular....
As far as my plans for Halloween....I always spend it with my nephew and niece.....go trick or treating with them and take a bunch of pics and I was just invited to a Halloween party as well....so it should be fun...just have no idea about a costume at all......

I wish I could stop time and suspend all responsibilities so that I could play through Dark Souls as it's meant to be played... over the course of a few months in long, engrossing 8 hour chunks. As it is, I'm going to have to give up eating, sleeping, or drinking in order to get a review in on this one. My vote is for eating... it's highly overrated.
