The ghost movie really only has come to serious prominence lately and it's doing what horror does...exploring every last possible variation on the theme. Soon, the pendulum will swing back. For me personally, the single human killer bores the crap out of me. I want the monster movie to be the dominant paradigm.

Everybody has their own opinion and that's just as it should be. If you like Blair Witch. you should see the BBC film that inspired it/they ripped off (depending who you ask) called The Last Broadcast.

The hand-cam film has been attempted a number of times but has never really succeeded the way it did with Cloverfield.
