Well, my mum and I are going to turn into shut-ins on Christmas (even though we're going to go out and get some Chinese to eat). The phones are going to go off, but I'm getting a load of all sorts of neat games, movies and all sorts of neat stuff. I'll make sure to show you what I got.
Also, I will FINALLY get to see The Muppets tomorrow with my mum. So excited! I also have some work from School I need to do, but that shouldn't be too hard.
Ohh! Nice. I've always wondered how the folks at NERV celebrate Christmas. Think you might throw in the Rebuild flicks at the same time or is it just the original series? Also, nice picks to play. Sure, why not? Make sure to play some good ol' Ludwig Van! :D
Cool! I've always wanted to go to those things but some of the things I'd like to dress up as might be a hassle. And there's the trouble of getting there. If I could, I'd l dress up in the Nanosuit and come to one of those things.
I covers nothing new, like, brings absalutly nothing that you coulnd't get from the first 6 episodes, and I'm fairly concerned over how much they have upped the 'fan service'. I went out of my way to catch it when it played one night at the theater in Calgary, and there is a moment in the theatrical version (removed from the DVD release) where Shinji falls on Rei, and there is a nip-slip where my whole audience did a gasp. Apart from that, I loved it. I thought it did an exellent job of covering the highlights of the show, while upping the visuals to unbeliveable levels. Most importaintly, it is impossible to even consider sugesting to some one else that they should watch the TV show, unless they are die hard otaku, or actually ask me what anime I would sugest, but here, even if they hate it in the end, it's pretty painless to knock back 98mins. Have gotten a few people at work to watch my copy, some liked, some didn't.
