I really hate it, when I am by myself & I have to go back & forth between the drive-up & the lobby..it just gets to be a bit much, when there is along line & they wonder why you are the only one working at the moment..I ask myself the same question..LOL

To answer your question..yes I do have to deal with customers...good & bad ..on a daily basis..I have had some really interesting experiences..I have been called some pretty bad things...and it is hard, when you have to say you cannot do something..I have been accused of doing it on purpose..of wanting to do it..like I get a kick out of it or something...I just can't imagine being like that...I don't like lines either..and if you have a legitimate complaint..go for it...but sometimes people come in with a chip on their shoulder and nothing you do or say will make them happy.

Like they say..you can't pick your "family", but you can pick your friends..sometimes your friends end up being more like your family. I have sort of taken on my best friend's family as my second family. I have become friends with her kids, but I do love them like family..I have been there for weddings, birthdays, graduations, funerals, births, holidays....
That is too bad about your brother & sister..I mean it would be nice, if they could be in your life more, but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way & it is sad and it doesn't make sense about your Dad's side of the family...what cause that to happen?
I get what you mean about the structure of family..and no your belief about family is not cold at all. It is just like the theory that just because you give birth, it doesn't mean you will be a great mother...it is the love and care as you say..... some people just shouldn't be allowed to have kids.....so I understand completely..it is just sad, when your family is not there for you...but you seem to have adapted & moved on, so I applaud you...=D
So what makes you socially awkward & self-conscious? I guess that I was surprised that you would say that because you seem to exude confidence..
I guess I can see what you are saying, but I guess I find it hard to believe that you will become redundant..LOL
But the movie idea sounds even better, when you explain it like that & it seems like a great opportunity to share something that you love & they will look back on these times fondly & of course when they watch those movies again they will remember your times together..=D
Gee..I had no idea that catfish could be poisonous..=(..well both of your fears are rational..you didn't just pull them out of a hat..you actually had some experience that caused it....does this mean you won't eat catfish either?=D...I know..LOL dumb question..LOL

Yes..it can be dangerous...we have this wooden ramp for my sister ..she needs to walk with crutches & damned if I haven't fallen more, since that thing was put up..I just didn't expect it...I guess it might have been a frost...
I have a pinched nerve & I didn't go to physical therapy because the co-pay was too high..so it acts up from time to time..I guess I just landed right...it goes down my whole leg to my foot...
just not much I can do about it...

I will wait until we get a good snow & I will send you those pics..=D..so far all it managed to do was get cold enough to just turn a bit of rain into a slight glaze undetectable to the eye..which made me fall on my way to work yesterday..sort of went head over heels..fell backwards on my elbow & boy that was grand..I was more concerned about who might be watching me...isn't that always the case?..LOL..I had to hurry to ge to work, so I wouldn't get an "occurrence" ..=(..but by the end of the day I think I was feeling it more...
One time on Christmas I left my nephew's house & took the long way home & I drove through the park & it was if all the trees & shrubs were painted with snow & it was quite idyllic...=D
So you Father-in-law is a Scott?..=D..nice...=D...seems like every person I have talked to on her from Scotland is so awesome and of course, Guy is the best...=D

To be honest that is how I came upon you..I think I noticed you before, but you left such an eloquent comment on his page, I had to check your page out & when I saw Doris Day..well...LOL..the rest is history...I guess I should tell you that he was my boyfriend. ..I think he has a great talent for writing & I tried to encourage him to maybe start a blog outside of Spill to see where it would take him. The best blog that I think he has written was about the experience of going to the movies, when he was a kid. We almost got into it over Twilight before, so I wasn't too happy, when I saw that blog. I felt like he was just trying to just do it for attention sake. Well I guess I have said enough about that for now. I still haven't talked to you about Thanksgiving yet..=D

I am glad to hear that you have strict rules...I think that makes a big difference...I am always distressed,when it is late at night & see these kids just hanging out & wonder why their parents do not take a more active role..it is important to know what they are doing & who they are doing it with..there are just too many nuts out there.

I had Ladyhawke on VHS & I finally got in on DVD from Amazon...Love that movie..I think Michelle Pfeiffer is one of the most beautiful women & even without make-up..her beauty cannot be denied...good thing she can act as well....have you ever seen The Fabulous Baker Brothers..or is that Boys?..geez I am blanking all of a sudden... and I can forgive her for Grease 2...
