Wolverine, is that the Red Dawn sequel?  ~jk

I actually think this might NOT Suck!

*Hope that really is Silver Samurai in the trailer!*

I take the boys in for free comic book day, they like it, I pick up a couple that look interesting.

We don't go to drive-ins.  "The Purge" looks (imho) too gimmicky,

like a cross between "The Experiment" (Brody) & "The Most Dangerous Game"

Looking forward "At World's End" as well as  "This is the End"

I hear you about movies, although I'm a lil the opposite,

Movies (owning/ buying) are my one big vice, so I'd rather buy them than go to them.

I figure for the price of going I can own the blu ray forever!

So I pick which movies I really GOT to see on the big screen, otherwise it's wait for the library,

then if I LOVE it, buy the bluray on sale somewhere.

Wow!  Great list!
I forgot about "Xanadu" (I LOVE E.L.O.!)

& "THE WALL" (Pink Rules!!!)

I am trying not to get TOO excited for "Iron Man 3",

but considering how MUCH I LOVE "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang",

not to mention ALL the Tremendous BUZZ over Kinsley's performance,

I feel like I'm sitting on a powder keg,

I'm equally excited for "Star Trek: Into Darkness" & "Man of Steel"!

Hey, Seth, thanks for the link, I will have to track that down!

I've got a whole stack of DVDs & Blurays I bought that I have NOT watched, yet,

because I've been having Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad & The Americans marathons

(catching up on my TV shows) *I just started season 2 of Game of Thrones,

Season 4 of Breaking Bad & trying to get to the current episode of The Americans.

I did check out "The Man with the Iron Fists" from the library,

I'm glad I didn't waste any money on that stinker!

I'll have to look for "The Apple"

Speaking of "Streets of Fire" = one of my ALL Time favorite movies,

although technically not a musical, I still LOVE this Rock n Roll Fable!

My favorite Musicals are:

10) "Popeye"

9)   "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"

8)   "Team America"

7)   "The Wizard of OZ"

6)   "The Sound of Music"

5)   "Little Shop of Horrors" (1986)

4)   "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (Gene Wilder!)

3)   "Bye Bye Birdie"

2)   "Hair"

1)   "The Phantom of the Paradise"

*Honorable mentions "American Pop", "Rock n Rule",

"South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut",  "Tommy" & "Repo: The Genetic Opera"

What are your favorite musicals?

Haha  Is THAT where you found this ..uh, "gem"???

Please give me a link (amazon?) or the exact title you found this on,

there are SO MANY of those 50 films sets! This one's beggin for a MST3K treatment!

Awww, no worries, that's Life!

Hey, I'm glad to hear you guys are safe!

Haha, too funny,
*I LOVE where the rifle barrel is FULL of sand and still shoots properly!

This is AWESOMELY BAD!

That's cool you two are cinematically simpatico!

I used to keep, ticket stubs and attach them to an index card

immediately after I got home and write down, where, with whom, & how I rated the movie,

sadly (after filling a couple boxes) I got lazy/ busy & fell out of the habit!

Have a great weekend, Seth!

Sage advice from, Roger!

*Thank goodness my wife LOVES movies (esp. action & foreign films!),

I mean we don't love EVERY type of film the other does, I like horror films (good ones),

& she doesn't care for them ( I watch those with my boys), & she LOVES Romantic comedies,

which I will watch with her , but they aren't my first choice!

* A few years back I bought her the book  "1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die"

we are slowly making our way through it.

At 12:02pm on April 9, 2013, Tadashi Station said…

I hope she gets the job!

To be honest, Seth, I've kinda stopped watching 95% of the horror movies that come out

because I'm so burnt out on BAD horror movies, the CARDINAL SIN of a horror film is to bore the audience,

& I HATE wasting my time!  Every once in a while I might check out a movie I've heard good things about,

& get get suckered into checking out films like "The Ward", "Drag Me To Hell",

"The Woman In Black", "Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark", "Silent House", etc. which I thought wasted my time.

It's not that I hate all horror films, "[Rec]" & "[Rec]2" I LOVED,

& I also liked "The Thing" remake & thought Reeves did ok with  "Let Me In",

but I didn't really see the need to remake the near perfect "Let The Right One In"!

Haha I guess I wasn't clear, I really can't stomach Herschell Gordon Lewis & Torture Porn,

I realize some people really like these films, so more power to them! Just not my cup o' tea!

Haha  "HUUEEEEEYY!"   *I saw him open for  "The Police" back in 1982

*I'll match your Zen with:  Lonesome Earl  *

Our vacation was great, we got out of town, stayed at a hotel, went shopping,

ate some GREAT food & saw 3 movies!

1) "G.I. Joe Retaliation"

2) "The Croods"

3) "Olympus Has Fallen"   <-- *Olympus was the best one!*

Cool! I remember    ..."little pig, little pig" on MTV!

I'm not sure I want to see "Evil Dead"

looks like a gore for gore's sake movie

like  Herschell Gordon Lewis

*I might check it out from the library*

That's Great news the move went SO Well!
*I know what you mean, arguements are another reason I hate moving!

We had a great Easter, went to church, came home,

I took the boys to the park, we played frisbee golf & tossed the football,

then had a delicious dinner, and watched "Zero Dark Thirty" & "Life of Pi" over the weekend!

Hey, a heads up, we are on spring vacation this week, so my replies will be spotty!

Hope you have a great week, Seth!

Yes, so sad about Mitch! :(

That's always good to cut back on the partying, don't be  THAT Guy!

Haha, yes, your  Awesomeness  shows!

Good communication is key!  Also compliments, hand holding & walks are nice!

Wait! what?

..."My girlfriend and I trying to communicate better and it's going by better than year's past.  For us to procrastinate as much."  did you mean "not" procrastinate as much ... take your time answering that! -jk

I hope your move goes well, hope you get to take time out for Easter.  Have a great weekend, Seth!

Very cool goals! I like the New Year's resolution, too!
*How's that working out so far?*

Hope you have a good walk through with the landlord,

I hate it when they make you clean the place 10 times better than when you took over!

Speaking of  Laugh More!

At 12:30pm on March 27, 2013, Tadashi Station said…

Oddly enough, I have an iPhone (4)- still not sure if it was worth it.

You have to show her "Hot Fuzz" now!

Fingers crossed you guys have a smooth moving experience!

*I think THE WORST part is NOT the move, but rather after an exhausting day of moving,

you get to look forward to cleaning the old place,

unless you don't care about the deposit ~ to which I'm always reminded of

this scene from  Parenthood  (1:30min. mark)  ..."If you dropped $200 in here, you'd look, right?"

hmm goals

to be more productive (artwork),  exercise more (walking), take more time for the boys.

Go out on more dates with the wife. (Movies!) Try not to hold grudges ...  laugh more!

How bout you?

At 11:22am on March 25, 2013, Tadashi Station said…

Nope,  no spotify, no instagram, no skype, no twitter  .... NO Time! lol

*We're too cheap to pay for a music service, let alone X-box Live, (splains why we don't have an X-box!)*

Good luck on the packing!  Ughh always dreaded moving!

*It gets worse as you get older & accumulate more STUFF!*

Lol, WAIT! Had Carrie seen "Hot Fuzz" before "Point Break"???

We had a good weekend, watched the new box set of One Piece with my boys.

*We LOVE that show!*

Looking forward to Easter, then family on spring vacation!

ummm That would be  Henry O , who played the lama in Tibet(?) in "2012" &

as Master Yu in "Rush Hour 3", while  James Shigeta  played Mr. "Takagi" who worked

at Nakatomi Plaza, as seen here in  this "revised" scene from Die Hard

That moment of Zen was too funny

Hey, for proposal ideas you could try something like  THIS

Huh, so OZ was was pretty good?

I don't know why Raimi has become like Burton to me,

I'll wait to check it out from the library.

I checked out "Premium Rush" from the library,

it was better than I thought it would be.

Are you looking forward to either "Olympus Has Fallen"? or "G.I. Joe: Retaliation"?
