Just in case you didn't can't read my advice on your status, If you scroll down after you selected the episode of Remote Viewing, there will be a point where it says something like "Showing 25 out of 51 comments" If you click on 'View All', it'll bring you back to the original page with the pictures and time stamps all intact :)

Hello again. Yes, in México also we do say things like "hola negro" and "hola blanca", and yeah, there's really no malice behind it. And yeah, we also say "hola gorda" (hello fat one, or hello fattie) but it is not meant in a hateful way either. Most of family calls my mother "gorda" even though she's not actually fat. Yeah, a lot gets lost in translation. I'll get back to you later on a qoute I liked a lot. It said that languages are also worlds, and that words are not only different labels we put on things.

Now, with the television shows. I sort of agree with you. It's not that most of the people who appear on television shows are there just because they are white and we discriminate against other races, it's simply because that's like the "ideal" way most people think of when defining beauty. For example, only 20% of the people in México are white, and yet 99.9% of the actors you see on TV are white. But they are there because the majority of people who watch those shows like the way they look. Even though there's been an effort to create pride in being a mestizo or a native indian, many still have an inferiority complex towards white people. My grandmother often found herself in various encounters with other Mexicans who would shout insults at her like "gachupina" (despective way of calling someone that is from Spain) even though she and her parents were born here.

I don't know, I kind of understand how some Americans feel about immigration. It's like, I might need mi neighbor to come to my house and clean my room and wash my clothes, but I don't want him to. There's a difference between needing and wanting, but yeah, a lot of hipocrisy going on as well.

Hello, sorry for responding so late but I've been very busy with college. Well, about the Mr. Sheeeit meme. I can see how many people would be angry about it, since its a very touchy subject in the United States. See, in Latin America we don't have racism, but we do have class problems. We many times openly make jokes about gay people, people from other countries, and yes, of black people too. But even then there isn't actually real hate against those people. There's little to none homophobia here, and because we don't see many black people in here, whenever we see one, they are actually pretty popular. They are actually kind of exotic in a way(at least in México). I've been to Panama, Cuba, and Colombia, and there's rarely problems of racism. I don't know, we make fun of anything and everybody, but it's really just bluffing. Korey said that many of the jokes came from Spanish speaking people, now I can't verify that but if it's true, it's not because Spain or Latin America hates black people, it's because we don't have the same history that you guys have. But yes, I can understand why some people in the U.S. would be angry about some spanish speaking people making fun of black people, but they don't make the jokes like in a hateful manner. It's like, it's fine to make racist jokes, as long as they are funny.

Hey mate, sory for the belated reply. The next time I go clubbing with my mates, I will send you a message and hopefully you can come join us. A few of us will be Spill members so you can easily find something in common with them. Or if you're planning something with your friends then hit me up and I'll bring my mates to meet up with you. You up for that?

Oh yeah, I recommend you avoid going out in central London. Its really expensive and its full of tourists. You should check out Camden Town or even better Shoreditch to get a true London experience

I think we might just agree on that we disagree. But I am in no means deffending Zimmerman(not saying that you are implying that I am). I think he should have a fair trial but the way I see it he's SOL with all that evidence stacking up. I think it's important to talk about these things. Not talking about them makes matters worse. We should acknowledge that racism is still alive and kicking in the U.S.

On the topic of Spanish. Well, learning Castillian(Spanish) is all about getting used to the sound of it, like sharpening the ear. Try to watch some spanish speaking channels on TV or internet. I've noticed that the people who speak it more clearly are the cubans. They speak slowly and they put more emphasis on the vowels. They have a certain rythm that's easy to follow. The good thing about Spanish is that it is pronounced the way it is written but with so many accents and colloquialisms it can get pretty hard sometimes, especially if your native language is a Germanic one, like English, whereas people who speak Romance languages don't have much trouble learning either Romance languages or Germanic ones. Maybe it has to do with the way we conjugate verbs.

Like I said, my advice would be to getting used to the sound of it, try to speak with as many people as you can and watch some spanish tv, but don't try channels from different countries all at once cause you'll get very confused. I wouldn't advice to listening to songs yet.

It doesn't matter if you speak it with an accent, the important thing is that people understand you.

"Flojera" means laziness.

"Masacrando" means slaughtering.

It's an interesting thing about the English language. The word "Massacre" exists but the conjugate of it is "to slaughter". Must be a latin word. Like with the word Moon(in Spanish Luna) but you don't say "moonar activity", you say "lunar activity". Funny thing, huh?.

I'm glad that you are taking your time and effort into learning a new language. It's a thing that not many Americans take seriously.

If you would like any more advice I'm always available :)

Yeeeeah.  I'm not that spastic really!  And I don't really know why I just HAD to comment. Maybe I was PMS-ing that day or something.  But in the context of production value - I know the peeps that work on these costumes and sets for the movies and they really don't get enough credit.  So I have to speak up - when a movie has great visuals within the realm of set and costume and someone knocks on them for flippant reasons.  I'm thinking about attending the next spill.con so I might see you there!

Response from Korey for my wall post  - reposted below for extra fun in this thread of discussion - meant is all sweetness and silliness from me -

Korey : Yes, yes, Cindy. We know people dressed like that at the time. Guess what? It's still funny! I'm laughing just thinking about it right now! Whew.. hold on. Let me wipe these tears off my keyboard...

Alright, that was good. So, you're either a theatre person or a clothing/fashion designer. Which one is it that we touched such a nerve?

Now excuse me while I go laugh at the fashions from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

My original post to the Three Musketeers Review - which I just thought would be a helpful addition to my wall!
Enjoy!
Guys, really?  Usually I am right along with you when you give the concept of a movie shit.  But to make fun of the clothing when it was the style of the times is just plain ignorant.  You should know better than to point out the feather's, lace, and what not- when it was the style of the time!  Come on Co-host and Korey, you made yourselfs sound so dumb at the beginning of this podcast. I am giving the first few minutes of this podcast a some ole bullshit cause the premise of this movie may suck and the crazy matrix-like moves may look ridiculous, but at least you are given some of the 3 musketeers style in their costumes.

omg! that was the most AH-mazing UN-necessary slap downs I have ever experienced!  Kudos to you sir for that!  To put the amount of time and necessary attention to being that upset is commendable.  If you are looking for insightful reviews I guess you are at the right website for it, because the first 2 minutes of the review for 3 musketeers was SOOOO insightful.  Really? REALLY DUDE?  You know what that gave me just the laugh I needed today, I'm going to finish my day with a good beer and have a dramatic reading of your post at my production meeting. Thank you for the post comedic-gold of a Wednesday.

PS> I'm American and I LOVE IT. <- can that provide you with enough fodder for an equally as long rebuttal 'cause I await with baited breath.
