Saw Avengers in 3D (not on purpose) and I must say it has moved to the top as the best super hero team movies. The Incredibles moves to second place, and X-men first class to 3rd (there are other super hero movies but I am just going with on screen movies). Now if only the Dark Knight Rises can end well I will be happy. Well as I said I did not see Avengers in RPX 3D on purpose cause I really don't see the big deal. But Holy Shit! that preview of Prometheus in 3D was bad ass. Looks like I will being seeing it in 3D.
That's good to hear that you still had a great time with the game, despite the terrible ending. And as for the secret ending, I actually got it on my first playthrough (import) and it's eh, it's also kind of a bummer. Not in the same way that last ending was, but in the sense that they skipped over events that we didn't get a chance to see play out (Geth cooperating with Quarians, Krogan cured of genophage, the Yahg, etc....).
I'm sure with the insane amount of backlash Bioware received from the fans, they'll be sure not to do something like that next time ;)
Oh wow, I actually felt the same way. And the thing is that Bioware is surely capable of delivering an epic ending (Dragon Age, KOTOR), however they made the wrong choice by not going the "Hollywood Blockbuster" route. Which by the way, is not a bad thing. In fact they could've just mimicked the ending to Mass Effect 1 and made some tweaks here and there. It really frustrated me why they couldn't have just done that, but instead they wanted to be "edgy".
Anyway, despite those gripes - great game. Awesome weapons, better combat mobility, and memorable character moments. Even multiplayer is fun (unless you're playing on PS3 apparently).
Also, it's been a while since I've been to the League Lounge. I should pop in sometime soon :)
Finally getting around to ask you what you recommend in a TV projector. Looking at a budget between $800-2K for one that I can continue to the rooftop of the brownstone that overlooks manhattan...renovations on the roof should be done in July-Aug. So I have some time.
I was stationed in Japan for two years starting just after the Kobe quake in '95. My first job there was on the clean-up crew (at least what the Japanese gov't allowed us to help with). Never saw so much destruction first hand. Had my first experiences with quakes there. They were actually pretty frequent - to the point where when I got back to California I slept through a couple.

Dude, are you still watching Earth's Mightiest? Season 2 has been awesome.

One more piece of fan art. At least we have fan art.
This guy understands. Very cool art and the writing is pretty good too.
How far are you from Columbus?
Heh heh.

Did you get the secret ending?
Yeah same here, I heard there were also 16 endings. So maybe something could.....change? Anyway, it was just a dumb decision.

Thanks in advance.
