That's possibly the most ironic part of the history of "Soap Operas" in America (At least).
So many stars were "found" on Soap Operas because they used to be the "Doorway to fame". Break out performance on a Soap would get you a job on your own show, and from there you would step up into movies. Now, it's mostly going to be "Kid's shows" that gets your foot in the door, or something really stupid like Reality TV shows that get you known.
While the "Soap Opera Format" might be facing the end of the line, it's history of "Famous Faces" is still one to look into from time to time. It might be impossible to name all the people that were on General Hospital over they years, but something that might worth looking into just for fun. =)
Most of my blogs are going to be a hit or miss. If it misses (the topic or the reader) it will miss by miles.
But every now and then, it's going to hit. When it does hit, it's going to be a home-run. One of the sad things about Twilight is that it actually proves the point that it's perfectly legal to rape the minds of little girls, just don't touch them physically and you can get away with it.
You can post questions for LDT and ACOCO on Korey's page, however for ACOCO they're doing questions more from Carlyle's Twitter page which means you have to be on when they record which is late Sunday/early Monday mornings. LDT records on Tuesdays but I'm not sure what time they do it.
Hey man, I saw your question about the statute of limitations on rape for Polanski. Mind you, I'm not a law student, so please correct me if I'm way off... but I think the reason that they could arrest him after all these years is that he was actually convicted of the crime way back when, and then ran. Which makes him a fugitive.
Now if he had never been brought to court and convicted, I think under the limitations laws for rape, he wouldn't be able to be prosecuted. Of course, I might be wrong, since rape of a minor might carry a much longer statute...
Usually I respond with a mean quip as to how they are otakus, but they proudly wear the title as if it were nobility
Sad isn't it. I wonder how much they would still stick to their "otaku ways" if they would go to Japan and experience how much they make fun OF the otaku life? I know they don't understand just how much their "love affair" is looked down on in Japan.... the place that they love so much. It's sad that they get blinded by their own obsession to the point that they become oblivious to facts that are easily researched.
If a writer is inspired by a game, but changes the title then I have no problem with it. Especially since he was at least honest enough to admit that it is NOT a straight-up adaptation, there are changes, and there may be comparisons and differences noticeable to the game... but it's a different title and NOT a reflection of the game.
Um...Thanks? I don't even know what the joke was now. lol But there was alot of crap April Fool's jokes posted that day, but for me to say what did. It must have been good I guess.
1) Does anybody know a program I can download that would allow me to make some decent sounding beats?
2) What RARE Soul, Disco, or 80's song that hasn't been sampled yet do you know?
My plan is take make some beats and use sampled vocals to explain…
A Podcast for horror fans all over the spectrum, we talk horror video games, movies, books, comics, toys, anything horror....with some bullshit on the side!!
If it's crap... We'll tell you
