I guess to me the biggest problem was another BS attempt to market a film in such a way to trick the audience into thinking they were seeing another movie...I am getting so fed up with that crap...
I know that at the heart of it was a love between two friends...and I was surprised that in a lot of ways Adam Sandler learned nothing from almost dying..... at least about being a decent person....it seemed by the end of the movie that maybe he had turned a corner...
You brought up some really good points & I agree with you....I mean don't get me wrong it was a good movie..flawed but good...=D

I guess you are forgiven.....LOL.....=)..I was beginning to wonder, if I would ever hear from you again..BUT I do understand...
My foot?.....well, I do have flat feet, but that isn't the problem....LOL....I have had some heel spurs..I actually stepped on one of my nephew's big lego pieces years ago.....that hurt like hell...and I have had to wear orthotics in my shoes because of it....But this was actually fissures on top of my foot..from arthritis...& I stand on my feet a lot....and they swell up & the nerve gets tangled in the those spurs....so they made an incision on the top of my foot..and shaved the bone down...right now it is still swelling up pretty bad..and I need to keep it propped up.....supposed to go back to work in 4 weeks...I can't put a shoe on my foot yet.there is just no way ..
So..that is my exciting story....
Sorry about your knee problems...you are so young....I hope your problems don't progress as much either..that stinks!..=(
Close to graduating? ....How exciting!........The Army, huh?.......I know what you mean..the Miliatry isn't for everyone...I guess it all depends on what field you can pursue, you know?..I mean what job would they train you for?..You should talk to Remicorps..he is a really great guy..so incredibly funny..so endearing..(LOL)... he is in the Marines & he is taking college courses now...he seems to really like being in the Military..but I don't think he plans on making a career of it......maybe he can give you some inside information that may be useful in making a decision...just tell him the most awesome BDiddy sent you....=D...

Now..I did see Funny People, but I thought it was a half hour too long.... I mean I did like the humor & the friendship of the two guys was the real relationship at the heart of it..I just wish he would have been more focused...it just seemed like it was lacking abit of direction...was it a comedy?..a drama?..a dramedy?...I liked it..just wish I could have loved it..=(.. To be honest I wouldn't recommend the books to you unless you were into a book that really amounts to a epic love story ala Rome & Juliet..vampires..wolves or whatever..it is mostly about falling in love against all odds, etc.
So you probably wouldn't like it anyways..LOL..or maybe you would..LOL....
So as far as the movie goes..I thought KS was fine..I have always liked her..in fact she had a movie that was in limited release that I still want to see..think it might be called the Cake Eaters..can't remember..but it looked really good..maybe you know what I am talking about? I think she plays a young girl that is dying & she wants to be with this boy that she falls in love with & experience sex, before she dies...saw her on Jimmy Kimmel doing a plug for it...it was directed by Mary Stuart Masterson .she was in Fried Green Tomatoes...Some Kind of Wonderful..big in rhw 80s..LOL
I wasn't too disappointed when I heard that she was hired for the part because I knew she was capable..I just don't think she looks the part much & the character is more of a klutz so to speak & has a more plain looking sort of beauty....
But I know what you mean with the Tom Cruise reference...
Rob Pattison? Yeah..I don't get that eaither..my one friend acts like he is the hottest guy ever..he is ok..but again it was a poor casting choice..wish they would have tried harder to find someone that semi-resembled him..but he would be hard to match up to the book..not sure anyone can be THAT good-looking..LOL ..
I am hoping the 2nd movie improves on the first one..just kind of looked like they didn't spend very much money..LOL..I thought it was fine, but I like the book better..LOL
