And just what do you want with me, sir? *grins* What makes you certain I'm not gonna kill ya just for diverting my attention from my puddin' for a minute?
pleased to meet ya- a fleeting "hi", till I am past the festive season & have more online time to discuss the finer things in life...like the year that was in movies :)
Till then, have a great & merry xmas
Thanks for the post man. I loved that one shot sequence! That reminds me of another scene similar. I posted a vid for The Protector and I don't know if you've seen it or not but it also has a one shot sequence fight like oldboy. Check it out and tell me what you think. I can't say it enough Tony Jaa is AMAZING!!
Well Casino Royale did things differently. They didn't really focus on the gadgets but more of the story and plots. So we probably won't see that many gadgets but we will see more of a guy that just has his own skills to make it more realistic and plausible.
So we will see it become modern but than again not overdueing it. Ian Fleming wrote the books like Casino Royale but it had to take place in this day and age but the gadgets work for the films.
You misread my list. It says Fahrenhype 9/11 not Fahrenheit 9/11. They are different documentaries. Also I like Twister because it's my family's favourite movie. We always watch this movie together. To me it's the experience that matters.
Re: 2001
Oh, yes, I agree about HAL. When I said parts of the film are brilliant, I was referring to HAL, as well as the gorgeous "Blue Danube" sequence.
I know I'm in the minority on this one. I might have to take another look at it.
If it's crap... We'll tell you
