um i like 3 because it had the black suit and venom who is like my favorite spiderman villian(but i was mad that he was barely in the movie but it was still cool to see him on the big screen and they are going to make an origin movie of him so im looking forward to that) i liked Peter Parker when he was like an asshole because of the black suit. ive always wondered how big of an asshole peter parker could be so i thought it was really cool to see that, but you are right about the movie.... it was complete SHIT
ya sorry i 4got to tell u that if u dont hurry and look at the reviews the older ones get deleted but they still had the crank 2 like 2 weeks ago so im sorry i didnt realize they took it off
The "older movies" (Especially the ones before 2000) I would say the same, that I'm not the "all-mighty authority" on those films. But I have seen them at least once (if not dozens of times) and my first impression has stayed basically the same over the years.
I would say "don't take my word as the word of authority" regarding a movie. I can be picky on a LOT of movies, and every now and then a crappy one gets enjoyed because it's the right timing. Like War with Jason Stathom and Jet Li. One of the biggest reasons I like that movie was because I saw it slightly drunk over at a friend's place and have fond memories of that night OVERALL more so than that specific movie.
However, stuff that is PURE crap (Like Epic Movie) believe me when I say it's crap. lol
Reason that I miss seeing a lot of the movies is for a few reasons, like not having the cash, not being a movie that is my taste, or just not having the time to see them. When I say "Passed on" it's mostly those 3 options. And the ones that I do see, it's because they come on tv late at night when nothing else is on, so I've had a lot of TV versions to see, not in theaters.
As far as AVGN? Nope, never really listened to him at all because I don't really care for him. Not saying that he's good or bad, just don't care about him one way or the other. I do think it's funny that you think that I say a lot of his phrases, but that might be because of how close we are in ages more than anything else.
Lol its so funny that everyone always comments on that-- Shoot Em Up was not a good movie in my opinion. I know what it was shooting for, that ridiculous and hiliarious shoot-out nonsense movie but it just didn't hit it for me. It tired too hard.
Ultra-Violet was barely O.K. and I will never watch it again.
I blame them both. I thought the acting overall was pretty flat. It just happens that Jackie Earle Haley and Billy Cruddup were AMAZING, veteran actors already so Snyder's lack of skill didn't affect them as much.
Dear Spirit, Hi. Thanks for commenting. Actually I was just joking about wondering if Year One was anything like Conan. As for Batman, I was not saying that it was "unreal" that someone would beatup a prisoner under their power. In fact, it's very real. It happens way too often. If you're an American blackman the one thing you fear most at night are the cops, because white cops have a well earned repuation of abusing the power of their authority. As for Batman doing it, I like my superheroes to actaully stand for something. They have to be more than weirdos in costumes with gizmos who do gymnastics and martial arts. A hero needs to stand up for what's right. So, when Batman in the Dark Knight beatsup on a suspect or listens in on people's phone calls, it's way, way too much like ex-Prez Bush who did pretty much the same thing because he felt justified doing it. But I really appreciate your interest. Btw - LOVE Watchmen movie. and, I'm sorry to say that the movie The Spirit was not very good. It LOOKED good but was just way too silly.
