What I would have done is kept a running log of every time I called a repairman, what they did, when they did it, how much we paid them, and why they were called back. Then, when it gets to the point of rediculous (like it is now), present the hard paperwork to the District Manager and the Director of Operations for our area with a letter of intent requesting we get new equipment due to being incapable of operating efficently given the current mechanical limitations presented to us. Maybe even do a comparison chart showing that we spent more on repairs since Thanksgiving than we would have if we got new equipment. At this point, I believe we've spent enough money to buy at least two brand new popcorn machines.
It all depends on the situation. That said, I don't think any of my managers would think this day would come. We'll see what happens this weekend, if anything, but I'm scheduled to be in the box office until Monday, so chances are good they won't tell me unless I ask around.

I don't know what they're going to do. They were discussing that with my General Manager as I was leaving my shift today. The only sure thing is that corporate isn't going to help us. They are just going to scold my managers about how they are not properly maintaining the equipment instead of giving us new ones.
So guess what happened at the movie theatre today, my Far East friend? Something that could very well kill us! Don't know? Well, our only working popcorn popper died on us. Yup, no popcorn until those machines can get repaired, but those machines needed to be replaced for about 7 years now.
And on the night that we have Avatar playing at a Midnight screening too! Looks like I got my Christmas wish!
what a reveal that is, eh? 'Dead is dead' I suppose. And 'What happened happened'. So what are your thoughts, theories, questions? Actually you should post theories over at the SPILL LOST forum because you will get a ton of good feedback and we are all itchin to discuss the show some more.

I just take my mother out to her favorite resturant. That's the American side of me that comes out every Mother's Day that actually plays to the stereotype, but oh well.
So I bought my mom her Christmas gift. It's a block of solid crystal brillently cut that is about as big as my fist and weighs in at just under 2 lbs. It captures the light just beautifully. Even got her a mirror base to help her figure out where to place it. And upon making said purchase, the sales woman working the floor started congratulating me as her boss was filling out the paper work for me to sign. Then her boss started to also congratulate me!!
Should I be worried now as to the reaction my mother will have? I have not bought her anything like this before and consider it my official apology for being a pain in ass for the 26 (27 if you include the time in the womb) years I've put her through.
I have not picked up S5 yet. I am selling my Wii to Leon and I have decided to get the........... PS3!!!
It has a bluray player so I dunno if I should get that version of S5 or the Special edition version box set. Have you begun season 5 yet??
Break here is Verrrrry sllooooooooowww... I'm really excited and antsy to get back to school already, but I've still got till January 3rd. At least I'll have time to appear on a couple of LEOGs before I'm off again.
Damn. Really sorry to hear that. But do what makes you happy. I certainly understand the practicality of waiting 'til your trip is done, but hopefully you won't fall into the same trap that so many people do - - finding another excuse not to leave. What are you thinking of switching to?
